In about 3 weeks of doing this eating more healthy (no bread, cutting right back on Sugar, no potatoes etc), cutting out the crap, eating cabbage, chicken, brocolli, apples and stuff, home works outs and I have now been 2 weeks on this Insanity thing, which I do twice a week, I have cut about 1 stone in weight.

Now, I am a little disappointed with that as I wanted to shift it a bit quicker. Any of you guys have any tips on what I should be doing as I am getting a little impatient with this.

Fasting?
Different sorts of excercise (though not running yet)?
Foods? I should be eating more of and less of etc.

Just some help would be awesome as I really want to do this and cut about another 2 stone, fairly quickly.

Thanks guys.

I think you're being a little impatient unless you are trying to make weight for something. I can't speak on anyone else's body but whatever I do today doesn't affect me til like 2-3 weeks later. It's like cause and effect.

Well just to update anyone who cares, I did weigh myself last week and was pretty shocked. I was, at the start of January, when I started all this, 15st 6lbs (218.4 lbs) and as of last week, now weigh 13st 1lb (183.4 lbs).

I want to lose the last 6-7 kilos but I know that this bit can be the hardest. Also, though the belly is now much, much flatter and though the love handles reduced significantly, its still not all gone or solid. You can feel my abs when you touch my stomach but damn, I want to see them

Any advice for this last push? I am still watching what I eat and doing the whole excersing thing.

i did the same last new year and our weights and size are about the same ,one thing that worked for me was protein shakes after training ,i actualy lost lost to much weight at one point while taking them also planks are great for getting that 6 pack ,i thought they were for girls before i did them but i had never felt a burn in my stomach like that before .

i found as well that resistance / weights training burns fat as fast if not faster than the normal cardio running/cycling .

Intermittent Fasting combined with Tabata is the quickest way IMO to weight loss and improved fitness. Combined with weights twice a week its amazing. However I challenge anyone to lift weights with any degree fo intensity on an extremely low carb diet. You will literally fall asleep during the session!

I have (quite unfortunately) had to do this multiple times when cutting weight. Caffeine becomes my best friend then...lots of caffeine!

That normally happens when we aren't maintaining our diet sometimes while doing activities we starts gaining and there are a lot of reasons behind that.Eat the correct food avoid too much of calories and fats.

Well, I have got down to just over 12st (was 15 1/2). Still eating better (chicken, turkey, veg, fruit etc) though I have lossened up a little bit and allow myself some chocolate (not a great lover, just a bit - still no bread, butter, cheese, full fat milk).

I do exercise my normal routine, its more like every two days and takes about 30 mins. Here is a break down of what I do nowadays:

60 stomach crunches
30 full situps

40 stomach stretches (kind of like a crunch, except I tilt back pull forward, while my upper back is off the floor - a small movement but I definitely feel that)
25 tricep dips from the floor

10 criss cross my legs then pull forwards, using abs.
30 standing touch my toes, left to right.
30 standing, touch my toes left to right, but in a twisting motion.

20 horizontal planks on forearms, down then up (holding for 3 secs each time)
10 horizontal planks, assuming a press-up position, arms locked straight and again down and up (holding for 3 secs)
10 horizontal planks, lowering my body down onto my forearms, then lift back up to starting position.

10 split leg press-ups (alternating left to right)
15 normal press ups.

This is all done one after the other and definitely gets the heart pumping.

At 5'7 and just over 40, I don't think its too bad but the love handles, though gone down a lot, I have a little to go. I wont ever have a 6 pack but its just about being trim and feeling good.

I would, ideally, like to shift a little more but I assume, sticking to this, it will come off gradually (I hope).

Cheers
