Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?

There can only be 1 (alias) "The Jackal"
Lets get it on

It's not like he's feasting on bums either. Romero, Mathebula & Hasegawa are pretty good opponents.ShadrachSimmo wrote:Martinez knows he's not going to beat Frampton. The guys entitled to make a bit of money if he can he's been around for a while.
Martinez is hardly "a bit of a joke" like Crease said he was.
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
He isnt being ducked he is just being managed. Thats all and unfortunately like everyone else he is being managed like Santa Cruz Martinez Rigo all just finding the routes of least resistance to the most money essentially.

Fighter doesn't want to fight the best out there but can't get an easier route to a belt therefore he's being ducked. ![[icon_shame.gif] :shame:](./images/smilies/icon_shame.gif)
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Then you should have titled it, "do other ducks duck Frampton". The answer is, it doesn't matter, because he has a chance to fight for the title if he was not ducking the real champ.Crease wrote:I am not talking about Rigondeaux, I was referring to the three other (weaker) World Champions. Let's focus in to the topic of this conversation.
I don't wont to be too harsh on Frampton here. At least he mentions the possibility of fighting Rigo and I suspect he will be the one to fight him eventually.

Didn't Quigg's promoter offer a substantial amount of money for the Quigg fight?

Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Terrible hypocrisy. Frampton was given a shot against the best in the world... at home... for the world title... turned it down and complains overs are ducking him?
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
He's won two IBF Title Eliminators and the current IBF Champion won't fight him. And his fight against Parodi was called a final eliminator.Naandrew wrote:I don't think Frampton was ever classed as the IBF mandatory.
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
And I really could tell you a story or two, but in all honestly I believe team Frampton need more established people representing the boxer and like all business having good contacts is a must.JimJim2009 wrote:I love the euphemism of "a person who understands the inner workings of the governing bodies"dapug wrote:He needs a team that can lobby the federations and push his claim for a world title, a person who understands the inner workings of the governing bodies, who represents him at conventions? does he have a lawyer?
If he really wants to be world champion fight Rigondeaux just turning into another Kell Brook, have a poo or get off the toilet!!![]()
AKA, he knows how much cash to put in the brown envelope, and where to put the envelope
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
How is he ducked when Santa Cruz is talking seriously about fighting him. Santa Cruz and Frampton both want to fight each other, also Quigg another champion wants to fight him.
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Don't call Quigg a Champion ever again. You don't draw and become a secondary "World Champion."brian13 wrote:How is he ducked when Santa Cruz is talking seriously about fighting him. Santa Cruz and Frampton both want to fight each other, also Quigg another champion wants to fight him.

Carl has been ducked by Quigg in the past, I'm still of the opinion that Quigg or Gallagher dont really want that fight.
Martinez is ducking him certainly, but i dont blame La Sensacion after what Carl did to him, if he fought him now, Carl would dispose of him quicker than 9.
LSC wouldnt duck Frampton, he has called him out and I believe that fight will definetly happen.
3 fight 'plan' for Frampton, IF i was in their camp, would be LSC, and if he wins that, which i believe he will, then Quigg as a 1st defence of the WBC crown and then Rigo

Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Nobosy is ducking him. His team aren't all that bright, he should have been mandatory with the IBF by now but they jumped at the last hurdle. If anything he's ducking Rigo.
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Crease, I know you're a big fan of Frampton but this is getting silly.
Enjoy his fights. There's no need for all of this nonsense.

He's ducking Rigo, like everyone else. His team are far from thick.jackukmma wrote:Nobosy is ducking him. His team aren't all that bright, he should have been mandatory with the IBF by now but they jumped at the last hurdle. If anything he's ducking Rigo.
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
I don't really think any of the champions hav ducked carl to be honest even Quigg the way I've always seeing it is that both carl and Scott hav only ever had 1 foot in neither of them really wanted to fight each other yet none of them wanted to lose face though. If they really wanted the fight it would of happend same as the macklin/barker/murrey/ lee thing
Re: Carl Frampton: The most ducked challenger in boxing?
Nothing but blatant love for a fighter......
Rigo, Santa Cruz, and Quigg will fight him, is Frampton ducking Quigg offers have been made?? Or are we discounting Rigo (because he stands Carl on his head) as you mentioned earlier.
As for the most avoided fighter that would have to go to Ali Raymi.
