Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
Re: Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
holy fornicating shitt
Re: Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
Shumenov's bought the fight, split decision, ridiculous.
Hopkins gets it, but those judges have been paid off, Shumenov's backers have been upto something. 116-111 Hopkins is bad enough, but 114-113 Shumenov, no wonder he didn't bother to do anything, probably thought he had the fight in the bag with the judges.

I don't know if it means anything or not but Bernard thanked everyone but Oscar.

Easily if he was bribed or threatened.Baby Face Finster wrote:More joke scoring. How the hell could a judge score that fight for Shumenov?

Yeah, in a split decision. As evidenced by tonights scorecards, judges are retarded. AP, ESPN and Yahoo all scored it for Hopkins.
Re: Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
I thought Calzaghe clearly beat Hopkins. Bernard gets way too much credit for his supposed effectiveness in that fight.
Re: Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
Calzaghe/Hopkins was anybody's fight.
The fact tonight's fight was a split was gross.

Ya, BHOP gets outlanded by about 100 punches, but hey, he's crafty and all that.

Re: Hopkins/Shumenov (with undercard)
Hmm very interesting that Hopkins didnt mention Oscar once there but yet highly praised Schaefer and co.

Isn't Oscar like a lame duck as far as promoting goes. They just use his name..all the other's do the grunt work.columbo wrote:Hmm very interesting that Hopkins didnt mention Oscar once there but yet highly praised Schaefer and co.

Oscar is the one who brought Hopkins into HIS promotion.MachoTime wrote:Isn't Oscar like a lame duck as far as promoting goes. That's the impression I get. I dont think Oscar does anything aside from snorting a ton of coke and shagging whores most likely from the proceeds of the businessMachoTime wrote:Isn't Oscar like a lame duck as far as promoting goes.
