Don't know the lad personally, but I saw a post from a lad sparring Froch which said that said Froch is looking sharper than before the first. I think Froch will finish him between 8-12

Groves has kept all his training very in house.

No news on any overseas camps or sparring partners at all.

To the untrained eye it looks as if he has been doing too much media work and not enough gym work but who knows.

Know it's about groves but just as an aside I dropped on rob McCracken at institute of sport Monday and had a little chat, just said Froch was the best he'd ever been in training etc, which is what you'd expect and also got to have a pike at Froch on the bag with me lad for a couple of minutes

I got a message from a mate who is connected to the Groves camp and said he is on form and looking sharp. Didn't give anymore than that away but he would say if the camp/sparring had not been good.

I know but had 5 mins with him and he seemed suprised I could remember him stiffening an Eastern European for England on sports night. Always seems a bit stern and dour but was quite nice. Funny thing with my lads despite a lifetime involved myself it don't bother them, so I shows my lad Froch caning the bag and he says " he can't have done loads of fights...his nose is massive!" And with that we left while we still could

Paddy Fitzpatrick’s boxing resume reads like a who’s who of the pugilist world. Involved in boxing now for over 25 years, Irishman Fitzpatrick has worked alongside some of the leading fi ghters and trainers the sport has to offer.

Paddy got a major break in 1997 when fi rst meeting Hall Of Fame trainer Freddie Roach in Jersey (Channel Islands). Roach was training Irishman Steve Collins at the time and Paddy made an immediate impression on the legendary trainer. Paddy was invited back to America to work with Roach at his illustrious Wild Card Gym, and it was the start of a US residency, which saw Paddy learn from some of the world’s best.

Keen to make a go of things Stateside, Paddy spent most of his time in America divided between Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Atlanta and Florida, working in all the best gyms available. Whether it be training, conditioning or providing nutritional advice, Paddy quickly created a reputation within the boxing industry as a man you want on your side.

Over the years Paddy has trained the likes of Laila Ali, Justin Juuko, Kid Diamond, William Guthrie, Michael Grant, Virgil Hill and Lucia Rijker.
