Re: New regional title
Just what boxing need another b/s title, just to many. In all honesty there is more credit in winning a state title, that these b/s titles.
Re: New regional title

Re: New regional title
If this is like the PABA or IBF Australasian championship, then other "Oceania" countries will include Nigeria, Argentina, Greenland, Diego Garcia, etc.AntonS wrote:Countries included under the WBAO include Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, New Caledonia, Samoa, Papua New Guinea, Tahiti, Tonga and Polynesia.
Re: New regional title
What a night, what a crowd, what a bout. Cameron ‘The Hammer’ Hammond impressed his local supporters and U.K promoter Ricky Hatton in a tough 10 rounder. From the opening bell the Argentinian showed he would be hard to tag and, although Hammond was in control, it took him a couple of rounds to find his mark. Hammond was rarely troubled as he secured a unanimous points decision. Spirited toe-to-toe exchanges raised the roof of the old town hall. Alfredo Blanco did his country proud as did Hammond who as set his presence on the international scene.
