When Floyd does it it's a master class. When someone else does it they're "running".
Dirrell is unbeaten.

Its called "Google". Use it.ikorolev wrote:No, I don't. When did Andre win ?Trunzo wrote: You do realize they went 1-1 against each other in the amateurs, right?

I know you were. I was making a point that Dirrell does better in the ams and sparring as he isn't getting hit in the head without protection.Trunzo wrote:
I am responding to the claims that Dirrell "couldn't come close" to him in the amateurs. I wasn't trying to say a thing about whether amateur fights mattered or not.

I am not finding Dirrell's win, because it never happened. They fought once and Golovkin won.ikorolev wrote:Trunzo wrote:No, I don't. When did Andre win ?ikorolev wrote: You do realize they went 1-1 against each other in the amateurs, right?

Watch it again. Dirrell was flopping all night every time Carl got close. He was in reverse gear the whole time, which isn't necessarily a bad thing as of itself, but he wasn't fighting effectively off the back foot at all. Dirrell was being hunted and he was never in control. It was close and messy, but Dirrell did not deserve the nod.diddy wrote:Dirrell beat Froch. I respectfully disagree. The best skillset...by far? He was very good, but was he much better than Jermain Taylor? The same Taylor that embarrassed Froch for 10.5 rds. What about Ward? 168lb Chad Dawson in good form?forcefraser wrote:If Dirrell had the heart and balls of Froch he would be a world beater. One seriously talented fighter, but without the cajones to go with it, it aint Gonna happen.
Out of all the super middleweights around over the past few years, Dirrell for me has the best skillset by far. If he can get his mind right he could do great things.
I'd love to see him in with a top guy next to show what he can do.
I think in terms of skill, speed, technique, conditioning and power Dirrell matches any of the guys you mention. He lacks something though and that appears to be a mental rather than physical trait.birdman77 wrote:I respectfully disagree. The best skillset...by far?
