Vitali was the MAYOR of the largest city in Ukraine. Kiev. Not significant enough for you I suppose.

Vitali is currently the mayor (doesn't have to be capitalised!) of Kiev. He was a member of the Ukrainian parliament during the period of time we were discussing.

You said he wasnt in office when Wlad beat Povetkin. Which is obviously incorrect. But yeah, my facts are false and yours are accurate. Now you're moving the goalposts on which sort of office he was in and when. Your opinion is that running for mayor in his war torn country when he was in his 40's was less important than continuing to clean out a division that everyone says sucks. Oh yes because running FOR office as opposed to being IN office makes your point any less ridiculous. In reality being IN office, which he was when Wlad beat Povetkin, actually makes it even less likely he would fight as opposed to just running FOR office, so in essence you come off even worse than before.

Why does it? Once elected the corruption in parliaments causes many officials to stop focussing on legislature.
