Froch is a strong warrior, but even the hardest of walls will crack with age in the face of continous attacks...

Show me any stats that older fighters have a larger risk than peak or young fighters.

If you walk into a ring to fight the moment the bell rings your odds to take serious or deadly damage just went up drastically regardless of age or how many fight youve had.

Blood vessels deteriorate with age, increasing the risk of brain injury.

Apart from both the Kessler fights and the first Groves fight,Froch hasnt been in that many wars anyhow,Ward and Taylor were successful but they werent going to town on Carl,most of the demolition jobs in his career were waged by him

Yeah, I'd hardly compare him to LaMotta - he's taken some lumps, but it's not like he's been on the receiving end of countless beatings, more often than not, he's been handing them out.

If I were to pick anyone that is currently boxing to have some longer term effects of having their brains get bounced around too much, it would be Provo and Rios. They stop most of the punches thrown at them with their face.
Interestingly enough, I think they might be fighting each other next. Rios made almost a million in his last fight, so he won't be quitting anytime soon, no matter how many people feel sorry for him and worry about his safety. Believe it or not, there are a lot more dangerous jobs out there than boxing, that pay a lot less.
