Dear matchroom please put Cleverly Bellew on the week after Fury card, I hope Eubank shows up.

Great fight.

Really surprised that Eubank seems to be jumping straight up a couple of levels particularly given his apparent lack of progress in terms of fighting any sort of competitive match-up in his pro career this far.

But if he pulls this off then he will be in a great position.

It will be interesting to see how the bookies have it. I'd go BJS 1/3 and Eubank 2/1.

The big early hype and confirming of a fight before it's probably been signed to encourage ticket sales. We've seen it all before with Frank and I will remain very cynical about this actually coming off until the two men are actually there on the night fighting.

The difference here is he has both men under his promotional banner so it's a lot easier to make the fight.
Isn't Eubank still promoted by Meaty Mick? The deal with Fwank is for TV. This is what I thought, at least.

Very brave decision by the Eubank camp, BJS has, I think genuine world title potential, I think Eubank is a long way behind. Hard to understand the thinking behind it unless the money is very very good.

Really looking forward to this one, but I won't actually believe it's happening until I see them both in the ring.

Or they are very confident in his ability to win it! Both fighters to be commended for not hiding away and avoiding it as they have called each other out numerous times

I must be in the minority but I don't think he (Eubank) is that far behind at all, maybe a step up like this will bring the best out in him, at least he is not running away or making an excuse not to fight him...fair play to both lads for getting it on and I will be watching with great interest in this one for sure

As per all the above, I just hope it happens

Cant wait for this one,im not letting anyone's negative energy affect me,it WILL happen next month :bag:

Nah i fancy Saunders to have too much experience for Eubank Jr and win it on points,Chris is looking better with every passing fight but Billy Joe's done it the hard way and has gained great experience doing 12 hard rounds on a few occasions,im surprised Eubank accepted the fight because Billy Joe is an unbeaten established domestic champ, unlike say a fighter who just won the vacant belt and Chris can jump in there and nick the belt of mediocre champ

From Eubank's teams POV,id rather see him in with Blackwell or Ryder before Saunders but if they feel BJS is there to be beat the all the better for us

Huge credit to warren and bith fighters for making this happen. Hearn take note especially after the tripe you served up on saturday.

I'm fascinated to see how Eubank reacts when things aren't going all his way. I've not warmed to his monosyllabic playground bully menace, but still admire his dad and sadly Saunders bores me.

I've seen many more BJS rounds on fast forward than in real time.

Fair play to BJS for taking the fight, he's giving the fans what they want even though it's not going to advance his career, Eubanks got himself a big leg up and I can see billy regretting giving him the chance. Eubank by stoppage.

I'm hoping this one happens. Its a good fight that could go either way but I'm leaning towards BJS getting a close decision.

Do I think it will actually happen ? Absolutely not.

If it did, I suspect Eubank will win. This is brilliant match making for the fans and idiotic match making for a manager/promoter. BJS has rock all to win, and everything to lose. It's the exact reverse for Eubank.

If BJS had a manager in the proper sense of the world, this fight would be rejected. The problem for BJS is that this fight is being made for the sake of the channel not the sake of his career. Conflict of interests.

I am excited by the fight and hope it happens. If Fwank can deliver Chisora vs Fury 2 and this one on the same show, then that is a damn good achievement.

Great news! Saunders on points for me (just). Well done to the promoters for organising this one.

I think Eubank will knock Saunders out. I dont see Billy beating the best at middleweight at world level myself. Not saying Eubank will either but whilst he's been beating up cans admittedly, I've been more impressed with the way he's done it.

You really think so? I don't think he is close tbh.

I'd favour Ryder in a rematch, and he isn't nearly world level.

I can also see Eubank Jr more than holding his own in this fight.
