depends on what level they were at
think beofre turning pro like to see someone have 60 or over Amateurs fights ,
there are alot of young tournaments these days through so you could rack up 20 fights a season as a schoolboy to be honest.
hard to gage but to have a good recored then really means winning alot more than you lost i suppose.

Its difficult to determine what a good record is. Many mature juniors rack up a string of wins using brawn over brains only to get found out when things level out as they get older.
I've known senior boxers who've stopped 9 out of 10 and hung up their gloves after 18 months because they didn't enjoy the commitment and pressure. Good record?
I coached one lad who lost his first 10 bouts but only with a crystal ball would we have known that 7 of his opponents would go on to national honours!
