Jamie McDonnell v Komeda
Terms agreed for them to fight in the New Year providing they both come through their November fights according to the latest IFL tv interview.

Is the fight over here or is Hearn sending over another Brit for a beating?jameswilson wrote:Terms agreed for them to fight in the New Year providing they both come through their November fights according to the latest IFL tv interview.

If it's home advantage for Jaime then fair play to matchroom

This is a waste of a fight if they have it anywhere other than the UK or Japan. I know Kameda fights in the US & Mexico but the real money would have to be in the UK, possibly on the undercard of Brook Khan. Or Coyle Campbell.
Re: Jamie McDonnell v Komeda
Which one? Koki or Tomoki? Tomoki is definitely the better and younger of the two which is why I think it wont be him. Koki looks very suspect, hes won 3 of his past 4 fights by SD despite having home advantage.

I was assuming Tomoki (El Mexicanito).rio wrote:Which one? Koki or Tomoki? Tomoki is definitely the better and younger of the two which is why I think it wont be him. Koki looks very suspect, hes won 3 of his past 4 fights by SD despite having home advantage.

Why would the real money have to be over here? Hearn is not exactly known for splashing the cash.Taansend wrote:These are two TALL Banties. Re: Jamie McDonnell v Komeda
is there enough time to have it on the Froch undercard on the 31st of january??
Re: Jamie McDonnell v Komeda
I rate Kameda very highly from what I've seen and I think he will be too fast for McDonnell.

Do you think they'd get more money fighting in the US or Mexico?

Jamie doesn't exactly bring money to the table. I don't care where the fight is, i tip my hat to the 2 fighters and the promoters making it happen especially Hearn as it is a very dangerous fight for a guy with a bet (even a paper one). Win this and Jamie is top3-4 P4P in this country.

IT actually CAN'T be in Japan. It'll be here or the US.Taansend wrote:These are two TALL Banties. In the US he's one of Haymon's guys. As far as Japan goes he's not licensed as his old Gym (Kameda Gym) have been stripped of their licenses, a situation that really fucked up the year for Koki and for Kohei Kono.

Not sure, I think it depends whats on the table for Haymon. For what it's worth Kameda will come cheaply unless Haymon has big plans for.

Who is McDonnell fighting in November? It doesn't say that he has a fight planned on his schedule.jameswilson wrote:Terms agreed for them to fight in the New Year providing they both come through their November fights

Could it be dependent on the result for Panomroonglek Kaiyanghadaogym's up coming bout? The Thai is apparently set to get a WBA title fight at 118 IF he wins his up coming contestCrease wrote:Who is McDonnell fighting in November? Panomroomglek won yesterday so don't be shocked if that's announced. There had been speculation last year that Tabtimdaeng would fight Payano so maybe last nights result threw a spanner in somewhere...
