As good as Adamek was? Or as good as he is now?

This is a poor argument though. Has Pulev beaten anyone in the Top 2 or 3? Has Povetkin? Has Pulev/Povetkin beaten Fury or Stiverne, or anyone as good as they are? No, but they're universally recognized #2 or #3 and higher ranked than Fury/Stiverne.

It is not a poor argument at all. Solis has never beaten a top 15 ranked fighter. He does not deserve to be in the top 15. Has he ever beaten a top 20 or 30 ranked fighter either?

Pulev and Povetkin have much better records than Solis. They are ranked highly because they have better records than the other fighters below them. Solis has an awful record and he looks bad in the ring as well.

Szpilka has a win against Adamek. What is Solis's best win?

Adamek #9. Looks like he has lost the fire.
Szpilka Stays out. I would not favor him over anyone in the top 15. Except for Adamek

I would send Glazkov down to 11. I saw him fight on the Hopkins-Kovalev undercard in an untelevised fight and he looked terrible. That's two fights in a row for where he hasn't looked good. Darnell Wilson came in literally 40 pounds overweight and decided to quit mid fight but was able to hit Glazkov when he wanted. He should have lost to Rossy last time out. Clearly he is not a world class challenger.

At the time of the fight with Rossy, Glazkov was distracted because his family (ethnic Russians living in East Ukraine) were in the middle of a war zone. Some militias were killing ethnic Russians in that area. He hadn't heard from his family members in a while because communications were cut off so he was very worried.

Btw, Glazkov should've been up for vote due to fight with Darnell Wilson on 11-08.

Thanks, I didn't know this had happened.

If Adamek has announced his retirement, he will be automatically removed from the rankings, regardless of votes. I'll tack Glazkov-Wilson onto the next update along with Wlad-Pulev.

He deserves his place far more than Solis.

Even the fat and unmotivated Solis would spank Szpilka in the ring.

Do you think that he would have won against Larsen? Or gone full 12 with Thompson?

I don't think so :geek2:

Go watch the Mollo fights again

In reality, Solis deserved a narrow win and a narrow loss against Leif Larsen and Konstantin Airich. Szpilka would have clearly defeated both of them. Solis would have lost to Adamek. Solis got dominated by Thompson, there is no redeeming value in that. Szpilka may or may not be able to beat Thompson at this stage, but he would probably win more rounds than Solis did. Solis actually hasn't notched a single legitimate key win in his professional career, whereas Szpilka just got done picking-up a key win. Also, you seem to be judging Szpilka by fights he had before he got in shape and from when he was younger and more pre-prime.

No way that Szpilka woulde beat Larsen. Not with hes chin. If Mollo was able to floor him 3 times Leif would probalby kill him in the first round

Solis has sturdy chin and good defence.

You will see how szpilka end up when he faces someone with power.
