Final round...

Will Smith go for a knockout? Or will it go the distance? If we're following the script of tonight's show as a whole, we're going to see yet another fight going the distance... Kovacs landed one good shot, to which Smith yelled at Kovacs and came at him with his own punches... The Baby Faced Assassin can take a solid shot... That will serve him well when he moves on in the future... as I thought, 10 rounds to zero, unaminous decision for Smith.

British Welterweight Championship, Frankie Gavin (20-1-0, 13) vs Bradley Skeete (18-0-0, 7)

May have a very good fight here, both men have decent/good power... In comaprison, on paper at least, it seems Gavin has fought the more seasoned opposition... Following this contest will be one of the more talked about contests, Billy Joe Saunders and Chris Eubank Jr...

BTW, I respect fighters and all, but holy sh!t Enzo sounds like he has a mouth full of soggy apples...

Round One (of a scheduled twelve)... have a feeling this is going to be a long night before the main event...

Gavin looks like he is ready to get down to business, that he's a man on a mission... we will see what happens...

Very...very... cautious.... and dull round.... Skeete landed some good shots, though, and that wins him the round

Round Two...

I wonder if Skeete's height and reach will pose a serious problem to Gavin, the #9 world contender...

Skeete is outlanding Gavin (jabs) almost at will... and Gavin's eye is already swelling...

Round Three...

It's almost amazing to me that Gavin is looking this way against Skeete... Gavin's doing better this round than in the previous two... but still... If I was Frank (promoter) I would of just cashed Gavin out already, rather than have him face a man like Skeete...

Round Four...

Gavin is bit more aggressive, and looks like Skeete has a cut on his nose... Gavin warned for a low punch... Skeete has an usual style, and is has such long arms and legs he looks rather strange, in comparison to Gavin who is more compact... Personally, this is either 2-2 or is 3-1 for Skeete...

Gavin doesn't belong to WW elite. Not sure if he even qualifies for a gatekeeper.

Round Five...

(I hope the Saunders/Eubank fight will be more exciting)

Appears to me that Gavin has alot of facial swelling and bruising... the announcers believe Gavin's ahead... but to me Skeete is barely getting hit...

Round Six... Midway through this fight...

Commentators saying this is 4-1 Gavin so far... I dont see it that way, but whatever... Think there's too much sentiment towards Gavin... Will say I am not that impressed with Gavin...This has been very close, so close its hard to call...

Round Seven...

More of the same... I'm starting to get burnt out with all these distance going fights... I'm hoping to Jesus that the Saunders/Eubank fight will be exciting, or even end in a kayo... Skeete took the round... even the commentators for once, admit that Skeete looked good.

Round Eight...

(Reminds myself in the future, not to watch another Frankie Gavin fight in the future)

I'd say Skeete... but who knows... this fight is mind numbingly dull...

Round Nine...

Commentators at this point say its "even"... brief moment that Gavin hit Skeete into the ropes, but Skeete wasn't hurt... I dont see how Gavin could of won the round, because, outside of that one moment it seemed to me Skeete was able to deflect and land jabs...

Round Ten..."Championship Rounds"...

The Q of whether Gavin is the same man as he was a year or so ago... I think must be re-asked... because he has not demonstrated, in any way, shape or form... in my view at least... that he's a dominating fighter... both men warned... odds on the bout is 6-4 for Gavin, 6-4 against Skeete, and 15-2 for a draw... its more probable this fight could be a draw... Skeete almost reminds me, in a way, of Jimmy Young or Chris Byrd in style... Skeete ended the round good, landing a good uppercut punch, and followed it with two-three jabs... so I will give it to him.

Round Eleven...

Gavin's eyes are swelled... Skeete looks unmarked... That, in and of itself, may tell the tale of the fight... Gavin warned for low punches... if Gavin came into this contest feeling he was going to prove something, he was dead wrong... I think, the crowd is with Skeete and if anyone can be unbiased on the contest... Skeete has comfortably escaped most of everything Gavin has thrown at him.

Final Round...

Gavin THREW Skeete to the floor... you can tell he is a desperate and frustrated man... Gavin warned for hitting Skeete while holding... most exciting round of the fight for sure... I believe that Skeete won this contest... and Gavin is a rude, disrespectful, and cheating little sh!t...

He was a clear winner, 117-111 on my card. To call him a cheat is a bit weird too, all Skeete did inside was try and grab hold, but one low blow and a punch on the break and the ref was on Gavin's case.

CO-MAIN EVENT OF THE NIGHT:
SAUNDERS vs. EUBANK, EUROPEAN/BRITISH/COMMONWEALTH CHAMPIONSHIP

Billy Joe Saunders, 20-0-0 (11)
Chris Eubank Jr, 18-0-0 (13)

Battle of the Unbeatens :box:

Saunders, who had the opprotunity to go for the world title, decided to instead defend his title(s) against Eubank. Will that be a mistake on his part? Or will this solidify the fact that he may indeed be one of the best p4p fighters in Britain?

Round One...

(Will Junior live up to his legendary father's legacy? We will see!)

Saunders is clearly the superior boxer... Eubank has the edge in power.... both men have had their moments... but there is more moments for Saunders than Eubank...

Round Two...

Saunders appears to have a bloody nose... Saunders appears the faster man, and Eubank seems to give up his natural height advantages... Saunders taunts him... Saunders has his way with him... however Eubank is composed, and not allowing himself to take risks...

Round Three...

(Is it just me, or does it annoy anyone else, when fathers are in sons corners and lecturing?)

Eubank lands a good combination early on... alot of hitting in the clinches... Saunders lands a good solid shot... and its another round for the more experienced man...

Round Four...

So far the fight reminds me of Martinez/Chavez... a faster and quicker man, making a bigger stronger man look silly... good exchanges but seems to me Saunders had the better of them... Saunders out jabbing, and Eubanks throwing wild punches that catch nothing but air... third of the way done, and its been all Saunders...

It looks like Eubank's only plan is to stop Saunders. He is not trying to win rounds.
