Boxing shorts companies seem to be making a killing now. Seen suzi wing is doing good business, there's a local called mr power who does well and now fight label.

The woman who made the shorts has had a fair amount of publicity out of it. Been on 5Live and Talksport this week.

For 20 large the shorts look crap. Mainly due to all the promo text on them.... But they're ordinary looking.

I actually really like the gold tiger print inside, but barring Amir being knocked on his arse, and the shorts riding up, they won't be seen.

Its publicity. It gets khan talked about. Its not necessarily this fight but it definitely increases the khan brand value.

Theres an old saying " all publicity is good publicity" and team khan have made headlines with these shorts.

Does anybody else think khan giving that school his shorts is a bit stupid and insensitive? They might have cost so much money to make, but is anybody actually going to pay anything for them? Nobody's going to shell out 20 or 30 grand for a pair of sweaty shorts won by Amir khan. Why didn't he just give the school the same money, he's rich enough, and shut up about the crappy shorts. How is it going to work? He posts the school his shorts and then they have to put them up on eBay? How much will they get for them? What if nobody actually buys them? Or they go for a fraction of the stated value? I don't think this was a good move at all.

He said that if a company had a marketing budget of £5m then his advice to get most out of it would be to give £1m to charity and to spend £4m telling everybody about it.
