Its weird - the public don't like John Terry, so naturally it is because he is a nob.

The public don't like Ashley Cole, and it must be because they are racist.

We live in a mad world.

Saf/Anzi is our resident "racism spotter" - saying that people are not keen on Khan is because they are racist (if they like to admit or not) and those who don't think that they are racist really are (it is just that they don't realise it) is absolute nonsense.

Khan was a national hero at 17. People started to dislike him the more they read about him and heard from him. I'd say post Oliver Harrison, he's lost a lot of love... I don't mind him myself, I wouldn't be popular if the media followed me from 17, either.

Have you honestly just compared George Best and James Hunt to Amir Khan?

Let's compare Ozzy Osbourne to Cliff Richard too.

One is a loveable, but crazy rock star, who makes no apologies for who he is.

The other is a sinister, manicured 'man of god' that seemingly leads a double-life that is the polar opposite of the glossy Hello magazine photos.

That's a better fit. A true enigma won't lie about what mischief he's been up to, he'll just put his hands up and say 'f*ck yeah'.

No one says people who don't like Ashley Cole are racist. Everyone, bar Chelsea fans, hates Cole.

I think you will find Ozzy Osbourne has done photo spreads in Hello numerous more times than Cliff Richard

The point I am making is the exact opposite of what you are saying I am saying mate !

If I say that John Terry is a nob, then people tend to agree.

If I say that Amir Khan is a nob, then (certain) people suddenly go, why is that ? is that racist ?

On his earlier post Anzi/Saf even said that it is because the British public are racist, whether we admit or not or even whether we know it or not !

You only have to look at the most popular British boxers over the past 20 years - Frank Bruno, Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn, Naz, Amir Khan, Audley, Ricky Hatton, Joe Calzaghe.

At the time of their respective Olympics, both Khan and Audley were massively popular - their actions since have contributed to any fall in popularity.

Kitty , as he is known in underground circles, likes a different kind of 'photo spread'.

Google "cliff richards kitty" and you will see more than a few stories of him operating under the guise of "kitty".

There is obviously a difference in some of the type of abuse Khan gets.

Abuse of Khan is not necessarily racist, but some of it certainly is.

No I'm comparing the morally uptight wankers in the media that we have now who expose people having a good time whereas in the past they celebrated them.
