Yes, he has noticeably short arms, I've often noted this and when discussing the Quigg fight I always
state that this would be a significant disadvantage tho I'm confident he would still be the win

Julio Cesar Chavez, Meldrick Taylor, Yuriorkis Gamboa and Roberto Duran all had reaches slightly shorter than their heights, which may be one reason why they could get off such quick combinations. Shorter arms also often come with short, stocky legs (Hamed, Pac), which is one way of generating power.

Proportionally (being as he's a small guy) Frampton's height to reach ratio is a big discrepancy, assuming the figures are right. But it hasn't seemed to cause him any issues so far.

If he does right Rigondeaux, who looks to have bloody long arms, it might be one of the biggest relative differences in reach ever.

The above three men might have long arms and has great power, but who is to say that they wouldn't have carried their power better had they shortened their punches. You look at the likes of; Ricky Hatton, Mike Tyson and Steve Collins - they fought on the inside, because it benefitted their own strengths, because it shortened the arc of their punches and the amount of distance that the punch has to travel before it makes its impact.
