Hmm....seems like an odd signing if he's not being lined up for Wilder. He's also extremely chinny and would an ideal opponent for Wilder to score a highlight-reel KO.
I think Haymon signed him for all-Polish fight against Szpilka in Chicago, but you can never exclude another Rod Salka-type title defense for Haymon's fighter. I hope Wilder fights someone decent like Lucas Browne but most likely it will be Al Haymon's fighter.

i could imagine that all arreola's title shots already
happened. i am at least very sure no one wants to
see a brave man like him being butchered by wilder.

If Briggs follows Wilder about like he does Wlad it will go off like Hide and Bentt.

Wilder would only have to mention random blood testing and Briggs would go away.

Fury talks a lot of crap, but doesn't seem in a hurry to fight Wilder - even as bad as he says Wilder is. Fury will fight Hammer next, then goes on to say he will fight Wilder after he (Fury) beats Wlad. He said he is 3 or 4 fights away from unifying all the belts. So in other words, he won't fight Wilder unless he beats Wlad, and a couple of other bums in-between.

this. someone will magically appear in the top 15, like the ibf always does, as soon as we hear
rumors of them being suggested as a voluntary wilder defense. maybe it will be one of those
garcia-salka type garbage cards to fill a date, but everyone will get paid. wilder will be handled
very carefully, with the goal of an eventual big unification with vlad in vegas. they need to build
him up though into a ppv star. i'd like to see wilder vs fury, but fury has a pulse so that won't
happen

The rumours and names floating about

Of Deontay Wilders first title defence, Travis Brown, Tyson Fury, Gerald Washington and Artur Szpilka

Artur is with Al so I'm guessing he's on the short list. Al can pick up all these mfers by the time I've finished my post though so maybe that don't even matter.

I'm hoping Al will deal with people who he doesn't have signed to him, but I mean who gots an advisor anyway so he could grab damn near anyone cuz few got advisors. I think the whole reason he's picking up so many cats is exactly cuz no one gots an advisor.

It sounds like Wlad wants Tyson soon too, Wlad was bringing up Tyson when Bryant was iffy on their Apr. fight. If I'm Tyson I'm probably waiting on Wladimir in Aug/Sept vs facing Deontay in May/June. Getting more money & more upside. Can always fight Deontay later win or lose vs Wlad.

Travis Brown?

You mean Travis Kaufmann? He would be a nice easy defense for Wilder.

I'd love to see Fury-Wilder, but I doubt that happens for a while.

I thought he has the WBC belt?

I would LOVE for Wilder to KO Fury, but that's not going to happen for a while. I am sure his first defense will come against some fringe guy that will get KOd in 1-4 rounds.

My bet would be Glazkov, but dont be surprised to see David Haye come out of the Woodwork screaming for a title shot

I would LOVE to see his next fight be against Tarver. That's a win-win for me because i'd love to see both men lose. So i'm guaranteed one will but with my luck, it will be a draw. One thing i do know, Wilder will not fight 4 times a year like he said in his post fight interview. He'll ride this train and i think it will be at least two years before we see him fight someone substantial.

Glazkov has to get past Cunningham first, but if he does, I'll be pleased if he gets the first crack at Wilder. Definitely a more compelling fight than Arreola or Szpilka.

I say Szpilka first, then he'll be in a corner, unless he is granted another voluntary.
Eventually Wlad though. Fury is less reward than Wlad, but more beatable.
