Description narrows it down, they know he's local, narrows it down even further, then there's the people who match both of those that aren't going to be out robbing houses, so they can be eliminated. Get down to a reasonable number, then start investigating them, probably be able to knock a few off through that, then pick out the one that's most likely to be in that area, at that time, attempting to break into a house.reggaereggae wrote:So you're basically telling us that the police picked up a random guy on a description that Crolla gave the police, after he'd been smashed in head and presumably Ko'd or at least head scrambled? And you're trying to tell us that on the strength of that 'description' they picked someone up?
And as you say Crolla says he knew it wasn't the right guy; which means they must've held an ID parade? Was that mentioned? And how did he know that the 'suspected individual' wasn't the right guy?
He wouldn't know who the suspect actually was if there was an ID parade.
I'm not saying it wasn't what you were told Terry, but it's hardly a conspiracy theory of Icke Royal Lizard proportions to suggest the full truth is not bring told.

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
Yeah ok maybe. But can or would the police really arrest someone who is a local burglar just because he vaguely matches a description? I imagine they would want a bit more info before they move.expe wrote:Description narrows it down, they know he's local, narrows it down even further, then there's the people who match both of those that aren't going to be out robbing houses, so they can be eliminated. The description is likely to have been 'skinny white guy, looks like a smach head, baseball cap, trainers er er that's it".
Sounds like they'd have to pull in half of Manchester LOL
I suppose it's feasible, I don t know how it works.

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
someone gets done over (brook, moore, crolla)
it's all a terrible mistake
no credible description given to the police so no chance of offender being caught
story of innocence printed verbatim
i fall asleep

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
I suspect the illuminati too.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
I kind of get what veriton is saying, people very rarely get shot or stabbed for no reason, sometimes there is the mistaken identity thing, caught in the crossfire or just being unlucky enough to be the target of some random nutjob.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
But the Crolla situation pretty much all makes sense.banjo wrote:I kind of get what veriton is saying, people very rarely get shot or stabbed for no reason, sometimes there is the mistaken identity thing, caught in the crossfire or just being unlucky enough to be the target of some random nutjob.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
I don't believe so either, I just think it was a case of "have-a-go-hero" gone badly, fortunately he seems to be on the up.Terry Dooley wrote:I can understand that, but not in the case of Crolla. Does this dude think he was engaged in cross country fighting or something?banjo wrote:I kind of get what veriton is saying, people very rarely get shot or stabbed for no reason, sometimes there is the mistaken identity thing, caught in the crossfire or just being unlucky enough to be the target of some random nutjob.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
There's definitely something odd about the Brook incident, but what's there to be said about Crolla's?

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
I know plenty of people who have been stabbed, beaten up, attacked. And not a single one has been because of 'mistaken identity' or 'random bad luck, wrong place wrong time."
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
Brook's is iffy, Moore's is probably mistaken identity though there is supposed to be a few fast characters at the MGM, Corolla was most likely doing what he said and it most likely went down like he said.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
but that's where you are going wrong, he was only smashed over the head because he intervened in something by instinct that was happening there and then. Not because of a turf war, or a grudge or anything else....reggaereggae wrote:I know plenty of people who have been stabbed, beaten up, attacked. I also know a lot of people who have been beaten up, stabbed etc but the situations are completely different.
Jesus...what is it with everyone...

Jesus indeed. You're taking version of the person who it happened to as gospel.Crazyboy wrote:but that's where you are going wrong, he was only smashed over the head because he intervened in something by instinct that was happening there and then. I tend to see the good in people rather than the opposite, maybe I have that wrong and should take your approach.veriton wrote:Jesus indeed. I'd rather not though.
Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
You think Crolla was out robbing sheds and brained himself on a window sill?

He was out cleaning windows to earn a few extra quid and slipped and brained himself on a windowsill. He needs to invest in one of your tutorials.

I agree with all that. Anyone involved with MGM is in danger. They're big players.palooka wrote:Brook's is iffy, Moore's is probably mistaken identity though there is supposed to be a few fast characters at the MGM, Corolla was most likely doing what he said and it most likely went down like he said.

More than a 1000 words.... Youve changedTerry Dooley wrote:Why don't you ghostwrite and submit the real story with help from KBB and David Icke? 1000 words of unchallenged quotes all wrapped up with a sweet ending. I can see it all now and I'm a subscriber. I hope Im surprised (but I havent read a negative - real - story yet)
It's more than 1000 words BTW.

I don't get shot because I don't go partying with Kinahan and friends! Seems simple enough!mickey1975 wrote:I agree with all that. Anyone involved with MGM is in danger. Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
Other than the fact that they're both white men, I can't see much similarity between Jamie Moore and that Kavanagh fella. How many stockily built chaps with shaven/ cropped hair must there be knocking about boxing gyms?
If I was a hitman, I'd want a bit more description to go on that just "shoot the next 12stone(ish), shaven haired white bloke that looks between 30-50 and a bit like a boxer"!
Also, the fact that Kavanagh was turned into a colander whereas Moore was just(!) shot in the legs seems a bit odd.

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
They are/were of similar build and same haircut, it was at night and Moore was going back into Daniel Kinahan's house. In the dark, seeing someone that looked similar to Kavanagh, going into his bosses house was probably enough for them to pull the trigger. Second time round I would guess they either used someone that was a better shot, or the same shooter made sure after fornicating up the first time.gb wrote:Other than the fact that they're both white men, I can't see much similarity between Jamie Moore and that Kavanagh fella. Weren't there 3 shooters that killed the gangster? Moore was very lucky not to have lost his life.

Re: Anthony Crolla's Attacker
I'm no expert, but surely you've got to be a seriously poor shot to aim for someone's head and get them in the legs. I probably would, but then again I've never been hired to shoot anybody!expe wrote:They are/were of similar build and same haircut, it was at night and Moore was going back into Daniel Kinahan's house. It might have been his first time, got to try and be understanding, wonder if his mates gave him grief over how crap he is at his job?
