The Germans have slashed the nonce figures by running adverts for prospective paedophiles, offering them the chance to go for counselling before they start offending. To be fair, it seems to be working.

The current way we deal with them, (the let them offend, and then think up awful ways to deal with them on social media) seems to imply that it is OK for a kid somewhere to 'take one for the team'.

As with all issues in society, we need to be pro-active, and not reactive'.

This obviously has to account for different kind of offenders. Some like kids, and that is an impulse thing. They have to be trained to control the impulse, in much the same ways as gamblers control gambling.

However, there are paedophiles who are attracted by the power and the pain they can cause. Two very different types of offender.

The documentary I watched was really interesting, and the figures show that the German example is working a damn site better than ours.

The only sensible way to deal with a nonce is to castrate them. Surely that would cure the illness?

It has to be an illness as what healthy sane person would even contemplate doing such a thing?

This brings up the question of whether if someone commits an act as horrendous as noncing, but is suffering from an illness that leads him to nonce, should he be punished or helped?

An illness? An illness is caught or infected like the flu, AIDS, cancer etc....how exactly do you catch the noncing illness?

It's not an illness, if someone is mentally ill then that doesn't mean they're a nonce, a nonce is making a life choice to sexually offend against children - that is not an illness that is them consciously committing to an act which is sub-human.

of British progroms from the Americas, Africa, Asia - espeically in India, the hunting and murdering of Aboriginies and a 10 year war
against the Maori's in NZ - all those wars in Europe, our role in world war 1, Ireland - fornicating hell - we have some blood
