Again a loss for Wlad

Post by Chepppaaa »

he losses every fight based on crabing holding, pushing with his body, leaning over. its DQ every time.

in the jennings fight he wasnt even crabing and holding at every seconde like he does in every other fights, but he should been dq.

ref warned him onces in 3 i believe it was, in 5 he talked to him "gotte stop holding" and than the point deduction in the 10 and even than he
did not stop holding crabing leaning over. wlad lost.

true. A competent referee would take away 3-4 points, making the fight close on the scorecards and possibly a draw.

the ref talked 2-3 times with wlad telling him top stop, wlad always continued, even in the 10 when he got a point deduction, he started to wrestle right away.

normal it should be, 1-2 verbal warning, than point deduction, than DQ. as i am concerened, he was crabing and holding so much from first to 6 round, that he would have been DQ'd right away around the 6 round.

Klitschko wasn't holding all that much tonight, no more than most boxers.

Against Povetkin he did, though.

For someone who claims to know boxing you are pretty dumb. It's 1-2 warnings then a point deduction, followed by a 2nd point deduction and then a DQ on the 3rd infraction not a DQ after a single point deduction.

Because he is an "expert". He keeps repeating that hoping that somebody will believe him, but fails due to utter nonsense of most of his posts like this one. Even if another point would have been taken from Wlad, he would still win most of the rounds with two even ones, and he certainly didn't deserve a DQ in this fight.

Yes because no 12 round boxing match should have any holding whatsoever. F'n hell, if there was no holding in this sport the fighters would keel over and die in the ring one after another. There HAS to be some holding, have you ever boxed, do you have any idea how exhausting it is to fight that long without taking any breathers whatsoever? You're a damn idiot.

in lower weights they fight all the time without excessive holding. if wlad cant do it, than it is his problem. if heavyweights cant do it, than its theirs problem. but lower weights, they have no problem giving an excsiting fight with rare holding. what does it tell us, heavyweights dont train enough on condition.

there is a huge difference, between 1 not holding, 2 holding every now and than, 3 holding a lot and 4that sh&(t what wlad is doing 4 excessive holding and wrestling. against 1-2 i dont have nothing, even 3 is okay it its not to much, but 4 should be a dq every time.

Wladimir uses clinching as a definitive part of his overall strategy and I didn't think he was excessive tonight. If anything, your referee from Canada, Michael Griffin, overly involved himself. How many times did he warn Wlad to stop pushing when he shoved off with his jab? I've never seen a fighter warned for pushing in that manner before. Technically, if you're not snapping off your jab with enthusiasm, then you're pushing it. Heavyweight fights in general are uglier than other divisions, tonight wasn't ugly. Holding is a foul that is not supposed to be allowed but clinching is a legitimate tactic and Wladimir simply does it well. If you noticed, many of Klitschko's holds/clinches happened as Jennings lowered his shoulder into his chest and wrapped his left arm around Wlad's waist. I had no problem with his technique tonight and I was rooting against him......I desperately want to see an American reign as heavyweight champ once again. The only issue I have with Klitschko's style is that it can make for boring fights like tonight.

Wlad wasnt bad tonight after the warning in rd 5. After that it was a normal boxing match. Damn near impossible to not hold when ur 6'5 and fight a jennings who likes to get inside and grind. Wlad should have 7 losses tho for holding.

Wlad isnt 5'6 115 lbs. Thats like saying a UFC heavyweight should have the cardio of Demetrious Johnson, a flyweight. He is a HUGE man. Huge men arent going to have the cardio of guys the size of 12 yr old boys. Also, as has been said, shorter guys have to lunge inside to get close to hitting him. Their torsos are going to collide, whats he supposed to do, let them punch him in the face? Holding is inevitable. Unless you're a dumb fighter who doesnt know/do what it takes to win.
