A cracking comment to see this morning. While there's always a chance Joshua could win, the statement is just contradicting itself
I was reading a piece by Glen McCrory today, he was basically saying that AJ is fighting tomato tins and he will become unstuck very shortly in the division. Kev Johnson presents a real test ...... we know this Glen, but, BUT, when he smashes this guy KO in 6 or 7 rounds what will you say?
That he beat up a tree trunk In better fashion than others beat the tree trunk?

To be fair I'd fight 15 Mayweathers for a fraction of the money they are getting! Take my beating then it's spending time :yay:
it's hard to spend money when you in a coma, i've herd this type of nonsense a ton of times, i'd fight tyson for a mill, when i say would you stand in front of a truck travelling at full speed for a mill, i get told, well obviously no, same difference.
was at my mates and a pal of his said he'd fight tyson fury for 100 grand, he said he's just dive on the floor and bite his legs, i told him he'd get disqualified he shrugged his shoulders, and said so what i'd have 100 grand, i told him he wouldn't get paid though, why not was the reply.

I watched all of Tyson's old fights on ESPN Classic a few years ago, I'm pretty sure at least half of his early fights were those kind of guys.

I've come off a motorbike at over 100mph, I guarantee you Tysons hardest punch won't hurt as much as that. 8)

Old thread and not a boxing one but during the build up to Aldo vs McGregor, my mate asked me what McGregor's first name was, I told him it was Conor, he said "Oh, I thought it was Aldo."

When I watched Vitali versus Chisora with my (now ex) girlfriend's Dad. He kept referring to Chisora as 'CHIS-RAH', no matter how many times the allegedly coverage referred to him by his correct name. I had some other mates who were round (also casual fans), so I didn't have the heart to point it out and correct him.

I was told by a ponce of a mate that if Haye beat Audley he`d buy me a pizza meal.

I looked at him with disgust and told him straight that pizza and meal are two words that do not belong together.

Froch came on sky sports news a few weeks back and my seven year old lad shouted through to the kitchen "Mum! Look, it's Carl from tumble!"
I didn't know whether to laugh or cry

in a pub in salford...."Lennox Lewis was good, but he avoided Eubank like the plague." I politely agreed - he looked hard.
