If you could change one rule of boxing....

You can still work inside if holding is outlawed. There is no real need for holding in boxing, it's spoiling.

Boxing without holding would be more entertaining, casual fans always remark "I wish they would stop hugging". There's no skill in it and it ruins the flow.

It also seems to me that if the house fighter wants to work inside then it's allowed. If the house boxer wants to peck from distance and "tie" his man up on the inside then it is allowed.

It also winds me up that when some guys hug they are spoiling...when other guys "tie" the up on the inside it's considered to be good boxing.

It ruins the sport.

I can handle the OCCASIONAL 'interim' champ, I don't even mind 4 belts - as long as the have some sort of unification schedule - BUT Super and "Regular" champ is just the biggest pile of @#$% !
How THE **** is Scott Quigg "regular" champ !?
No disrespect to him, but Rigondeaux is the WBA champ - you can't have a belt for being good and in the top 10.
I HAATE any 'regular' champ.

I think that there should definitely be a rule - and checked out before the fight, that Eg the belly button must be visible or something. Some of these guys have the protector so high that it makes body punching virtually obsolete

I disagree, it's an art when done properly, but unfortunately, far too much flagrant tieing the opponent up and not working in the clinches is done.

Referees need to be far more strict - that's the only way it will change.
