Ward-Degale could be an interesting fight.

Love it. Ward just needs to get busy. He was boring to most to begin with. Now he has rested on his laurels long enough. Go on the road and prove something or retire and commentate.

His p4p status with so many is undeserved at this point.

Grow some bouys and do a world tour SOGgy.

Kovalev only had two other fights in the division; Adonis & Beterbiev. But, Michel and Haymon promotes both guys so even though the recent buzz says that Kovalev/Beterbiev in Russia in November, i'll believe it when i see it. I can see these negotiations being nothing more than a waste of time. If the Beterbiev fight were to happen though, that would be a great fight to make as doubtful as it is.

So who does Ward have left? Who does Sergey have left? The ONLY fight at this point is with each other unless Ward wants to fight another mechanic on some obscure TV outlet again. Wards all gung ho to fight a smaller guy, let's see his nuggets with his response this fight.
Admittedly, this is a very good fight, however, I think both men's teams would want to build up to it, to maximise earnings for their fighters.

I'd say one more fight each, perhaps with Ward having one at 175 first.
