It's hilarious that Bayless hasn't warned Floyd for holding in any of his last several fights. Can you even imagine? I especially love it how if they are in the clinch and Floyd is getting the best of it, Bayless lets it go on. But if Berto landed a shot in the clinch, he'd break it up super fast. Either way, Floyd wins that fight but it's just funny to me.
But honestly, how can you beat a fighter that has the judges, the ref and the drug testing company in his pocket. I'd be undefeated too and i can barely make it to the mailbox without losing my breath. NTBE.
If Bayless or any ref ever had the audacity to deduct a point it be the last paycheque they ever earned from a Floyd fight.
Some of the behaviour of ref's in Floyd fights over the years has been unbelievable;
Punched on a break vs Gatti, ref ignores it, leads to Gatti getting kncoked down.
Clear knockdown not scored vs Judah.
Clear DQ vs Judah not enforced for seconds entering the ring.
Cortez deducting Hatton a point for punching a rope.
Cortez counting out Ortiz even though he never seen why he was on the floor.
Bayless going over to Maidana's corner and issueing a warning for a 'bite' which he also said he "never saw" (so effectively, a warning because Floyd said so).
Not once deducted a point for clinching or forearm rubbing/pushing, which he does non-stop. Infact I can barely even recall a stern warning.
