I don't care what they say about Jose, he is one of the better Heavyweights out there today.
Everybody keeps losing, and my guy keeps winning. Look at his record in the last 4-Years,
he has won 22 of 23 bouts. Nobody has that kind of winning percentage.

And he's put together good wins over; Terry Daniels, Tony Ventura, Jose Manuel Urtain,
Manuel Ramos, Jack O'Halloran (2x), Bowie Adams and Chuck Wepner. These small club
bouts are alot tougher than some of these big arena fights. You'll see when he beats Foreman,
everybody will be coming around to kiss our ass.

It's quality, not quantity, Al.

I remember watching that fight,it almost looked like Joe Roman didnt even want to even try to land anything hard in the first round
in case he might "Agitate" Big George.

I had read (unfortunately I cannot remember the source) that during the build up to the fight Foreman who was being his surly self during that time in his career was either at a press conference or the weigh in with Joe Roman. Roman was carrying on very jovial and Foreman was just silent and glowering at him when Joe Roman commented, I am Puerto Rican we are happy people not like this N******R and looking at Foreman when he made the comment. I think that's what sealed Joe Roman's doom outside of the fact that he was terribly outclassed.
