I like Froch as a commentator/pundit.
The Wale v Wood bout is warming up into a good scrap.

yeah michael would be, be good to see paddy barnes turn pro also.Philip Sutcliffe Jnrbrilo33 wrote:expe wrote:handsofstone wrote:Any ideas who the new signing will be
Michael Conlan will be the best of the lot IMO. Burnett looks good and is highly touted, but I haven't seen the potential that he's supposed to have when I've watched him. Signing with Hearn should be a good move for him, but in doing so he's throwing away his British title fight, which is disappointing to be honest.
is also talked highly, still think john joe nevin has the most protenial
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Dull for me, Wood has the typical Ingle style and as in most cases, it's horrible to watch, hopefully this is the last time he gets on TV, I'm bored shitless here.palooka wrote:I like Froch as a commentator/pundit.

It's been a long time since I was home on a Saturday night and chose not to watch the boxing, but I just can't be arsed with another dire & predictable Matchroom card. Instead I'll just check for updates on here then decide if it's worth spinning through later on - so regular updates would be good
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Wale is marching forward and Wood is boxing well, he's controlling the distance with his footwork. Round 7 coming up and Wale's won maybe 1. No big punches going in but Wood is a pretty good boxer and looks solid at the weight.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Wood is too good on his feet for Wale, he's scoring and then away and looks as though he knows what he's doing and is comfortable. He's a good boxer but not a big puncher, Ryan Walsh is a big ask but he's doing well here.
Wood is winning at a cantor and putting it together now, forcing the issue.

Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
will brook fight at welter again i wonder
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Wood has really got his conditioning together and looks like he could box like this for15 rounds. I like to watch a good boxer and Wood is a good punch picker and doesn't take much back.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Thank god that's over, Wood gets the winner of the other eliminator between James Tennyson and Darren Traynor next, hopefully he loses that.
Edit: Tennyson-Traynor is a final eliminator, Wood isn't fighting Walsh or the winner of that.

Good fight that.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Gavin towers over Parodi.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Same mate, can't even be arsed gracing that dross with my presence! First time since the dire run of Prizefighters (and the Bellew/Cleverly PPV) that I haven't bothered with some boxing on Sky.Boxerbeetle wrote:It's been a long time since I was home on a Saturday night and chose not to watch the boxing, but I just can't be arsed with another dire & predictable Matchroom card. Pretty even first round, Parodi seems to know what he's doing and Gavin starts slow. A couple of strong punches by Parodi but not much getting through.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Warming into a good scrap, Parodi rolling in and connecting a few, Gavin throwing a few combinations and a strong right hand.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Parodi seems a little powerhouse but Gavin is warming up - it shows what a very good fighter Frampton is.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
A clear McDonnell round, he's boxing well now but under steady pressure.

Frampton is several leagues above Gavin.palooka wrote:Parodi seems a little powerhouse but Gavin is warming up - it shows what a very good fighter Frampton is.

Yeah, I agree - I think my point was that Parodi is a decent fighter.mickey1975 wrote:Frampton is several leagues above Gavin.palooka wrote:Parodi seems a little powerhouse but Gavin is warming up - it shows what a very good fighter Frampton is.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
This is a fast paced bout with both getting some decent punches in. Parodi had really put some pressure on though Gavin coped pretty well.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Eubank Snr has got some crazy jeans and boots on.

A bit like Fonfara/Cleverly, a lot of action but no real drama

Parodi very limited, this is pretty average quality-wise for European title level.
Re: Eubank Jnr fighting Tony Jeter next
Good last round, I enjoyed the bout though Gavin had too many physical advantages.
