Well, someone in here got to learn to respect others. And like I said, we could get UGLIER if he wants it. I think he not. That's a wise choice

As I indicated on my last comment to him, I will let my earlier comments speak for themselves. Sorry if you feel this thread got hijacked. Lets move on.

I mentioned a few fights earlier that I think would have been interesting rematches:

Corbett-Fitzsimmons II
Schmeling-Sharkey III
LaMotta-Cerdan II
Nunn-Toney II

Easy to see any of them going either way.

My god, Elmer has a strange take on fighters. His remarks about Sugar Ray Leonard defy logic.

The problem is that you are so obnoxious, elmer.

-You always want things both ways.
A couple of recent examples of this:
1. You try to prop up Floyd Mayweather's wins over way past their best fighters like Pac, Marquez, and Moseley.
Then on another thread you turn around and claim that Lennox Lewis wins over Holyfield and Tyson don't mean much because Holyfield and Tyson were past it!
And you don't even get it when it's pointed out how hypocritcal that is.

2. On a different thread you claim that McLarnin's wins over fighters who weighed well under the Jr Welter limit count as wins over welterweights. When this was pointed out, you come up with some crap about about McLarnin was "campaigning" as a welterweight! Doesn't frikkin matter what weight he was "campaigning at". It only matters what weight class his opponents were in.

Then your go on to say that Leonard didn't beat welterweights when he beat Duran and Benitez even though they weighed well over the Jr welterweight limit and had for quite some time!

-You are so over the top biased for the guys you like and against those that you don't it's ridiculous. Every excuse in the book for Duran, Pedroza, every excuse for opponents of Leonard, Ali, DLH. Some of us actually try not to factor in how much we like a guy when we rate them.
Do you have to say something against Leonard virtually everyday? It got old years ago.
Not necessary to bring up your opinion of the decisons of Ali-Norton II and III every time either man's name is mentioned.

Probably the worst thing is when someone else counters a statement you made. You should try to counter their point, admit they have a point, or at least just drop it. However, you constantly just repeat you original statement as if someone else has not countered it. That is simply rude.

I just wish in the future you can take these things to heart and think about them.

Well, I have never appreciated the "stupid" comments. I don't tell no one that, so I demand respect, or if not, it will get uglier. That's all I am saying

Elmer, you sound ridiculous. You demand respect? You come out with such persistent gibberish it's impossible to respect you.

Well, you be my first witness, then! When did I have ever disrespect someone in this forum, first by saying "stupid", When? When? When? You be the second one to answer me the, since Counter Puncher doesn't want to be the first righteous witness

I see gibberish from many people here, but, I don't call them names. I know what I know. And some posters in here recognized that.

At one time, one poster made derogatory remarks about my mother in the Tiger Woods thread. What my mother got to do with the damn topic? So I responded much uglier.

Elmo appears to think posting semi-literate nonsense is a way for him to earn respect.

And what's your problem with me? Tell me when I have told derogatory remarks first to anyone? When? Why don't you be the first witness, Giancarlo?

It doesn't matter what anybody in here thinks of me. I could live with that. But, I'm not keeping my mouth shut if someone disrespects me or my mother for no reason whatsoever. I came to the forum in 2003. I talk about boxing. Not about some poster intelligence or ignorance.

The moderators gotta do something about this. There should be order in the forum. Not for just some people. Let's not be biased, now!
