you called that a b level matchup before the fight, and you didn't think anybody
wanted to see that one or watched it or was entertained by it?
has shumenov been coddled by haymon? was santa cruz-mares a b-level matchup or fight?
how about vanes-charlo? you really think the reason why floyd-pac didn't happen all these
years was because haymon was telling floyd not to fight him? if haymon has a guy who
wants a fight, haymon is going to get the guy the fight. he can only make the fights his
guys are willing to take. i'm no haymon fan, but haymon's fighters were in at least as many
risky and entertaining matchups as anyone else in the sport has helped to make. when i look
back on 2015, a lot of those fights involved his fighters. wilder-povetkin in the spring will be
a top level heavy matchup that people are looking forward to. people will watch the fury-wlad
rematch, and will be looking forward to fury-wilder. i still think kovalev-stevenson will be made.
there are so many top matchups at 140-147 that can be made, it's crazy. we should see GGG
unify the division next year. some people just like to complain all the time and boo and when you
start listing the fights that happened they start making stupid comments about how there were
too many foreigners involved in those, or other fights were not expected to be good fights beforehand
so they don't count, or when the big matchups are finally made they complain that they didn't live
up to the hype. lee-quillin turned out to be a better scrap than people predicted, and mattysse-provo
lived up to high expectations. 2015 had lots of good fights and matchups, including the dozen or so
haymon fights i mentioned in 2 posts
