Despite what he said himself, I think Frampton is done at the weight - no power, pop and very questionable stamina. The problem if he does move up to featherweight is his size - he is tiny even up against some of the super bantams. He will be dwarfed by some of the top boys at featherweight.
But isn't the no power or pop due to someone struggling at the weight?

You started the rudeness.

You lack class.
No sir, you did. You said "You are clueless." That is you starting the rudeness, not me. How did you score the fight Mr Horse?

Mighty Moose wrote:I had it 117-112 Frampton and while I have sympathy for the view that he did little in the first 4 rounds, I can't give a round to a guy throwing nothing in return. At least CF tried to force the fight, SQ reminded me of the trial horse coming in to give 4 rounds and go home unmarked to fight again next week, hugely disappointing approach, he proved what might have been possible 8 thru 11.

A couple of observations via Steve Farhood on Showtime:

"Quigg either had the worst fightplan in history or he froze for 7 rounds."

"Any debate over who won the fight was settled when Frampton won the 12th."

"No idea how you score that fight to Quigg"

Wants to see Santa Cruz vs Frampton down the line.
I've got a lot of respect for Farhood and he is 100% right.

Really gutted for Quigg, had he started putting the pressure on and trusted his chin 2 or 3 rounds earlier then maybe just maybe he could have done it.

I know it's a cliche but Quigg will regret this fight, he'll always question whether or not he could have got the win if he started earlier.

I cant see a rematch here. Frampton probably knows he'd lose it - Quigg wouldn't fornicate up the same way again and would stick his foot on the gas much earlier. The McGuigans also wouldn't risk losing the bragging rights.

That is rude and disrespectful to those who disagree with you.

I scored it 115-115 Even.

Frampton and Quigg were both rubbish in the first half of the fight. Frampton did not deserve to gain a large lead, he hardly did anything.

Agreed. I thought Quigg really could have won this fight.

He simply came in giving Frampton too much respect.

That's what I said - I think he's done at the weight. When I say he'll be tiny when he moves up I'm referring to his height, He's barely 5'5.

You could tell Quigg was shocked and it became an entirely different fight because he started putting himself in harms way to land his own shots. From that point on, he won more rounds.

Really have to question Gallagher. He should have told Quigg that earlier. Quigg was surprised mostly because Gallagher had been telling him he was boxing well before that.

Gallagher needed to be told that sky had quigg winning nothing early to know he was behind? That right there makes his Ring magazine award a joke and gives all his critics fuel for years. Inept plan but worse to not be able to read what was obviously happening is embarrassing.

Shall we all tweet Quigg simultaneously en masse & tell him to leave Gallagher asap? Surely he can't ignore all of us! :bag:

What other fights could make either the money a rematch would? We could get a trilogy out of this, I hope they do it now.

Of course, the counter argument to this is that by forcing things earlier Quigg would open himself up to counters & not have the strength or energy later on to close the show.

Quigg started very slow & came on later but that doesn't automatically equate to him winning if he starts fast in a rematch.
