Lucas has a big smile. FSB are baddies. Lucas speaks English as his first language. Chechens are baddies. Lucas is under the banner of Richard Hatton MBE. Russians are baddies. Princess Beatrice has never touched my bumhole. Lucas sounds convincing in his denials. Putin is a baddie. Lucas had never heard of clenbuterol until today. Ramzan Kadyrov is an actual baddie. Out.

I cannot believe that any top class athlete (in any sport) would do that.
Joking arent you? Loads of athletes put faith in their nutritional coaches, some, far too much. Dont forget it could be the nutritional coach who doesnt realise a certain ingredient is banned or maybe not declared?

From the article - "The advert stated that it was an approved substance and I checked the ingredients which had no reference to any banned substance that I was aware of. In fact, it also stated that it was suitable for athletes."

I remember a couple of months ago (maybe a little longer) he was doing some 28 shredding thing and banging on about it on his Twitter feed.

Someone noted earlier that this stays in the system for a while. Maybe it was from then :maybe:

If you recall after the weigh that dodgy despot bloke with the shocking beard was handing out smoothies to the fighters, so rumours abound that Browne's smoothie was spiked.

However would a single dose account for; Browne's career lightest weight, totally transformed physique (both of these evident before the smoothie), much higher work rate and greatly improved stamina, or do these factors indicate long term usage?

If Browne is stripped what happens next, does the title go back to Chagaev automatically, or does he fight Oquendo for the now vacant title?

It's possible that Chagaev (not exactly the most active of fighters) may fancy a break after being stopped by Browne, so will the 'Regular' title remain dormant messing up the WBA's tournament, or will Oquendo get to face someone else for the vacant title?

The most sensible option would be to elevate Ortiz the 'Interim' champion to 'Regular' champion and let him progress through the tournament, but he's already committed to fighting Ustinov so where would this leave Oquendo?

The WBA ... a great bunch of lads :TU:

I laughed at his protests originally but am now starting to come round to the fact that there was foul play involved. The fact that he arrived clean, you'd wonder would there be any benefit in taking such drugs in the time between his arrival and the fight. If not, then surely foul play involved.

It says a lot.

I hope poor old Ali Funeka didn't drink one of those smoothies or he'll get busted again.

Proper dodgy situation. With Russian doping being exposed in sport, it wouldn't surprise me if he was slipped a mickey.

I've known a couple of people to use that stuff before and they wouldn't have used it in that timescale from 29 Feb to 5 March. It does all types of stuff to you like Gomez has said. Surely he would only be ticking over in his training rather than going hell for leather at that stage

Lucas Browne has claimed he was tested by VADA when he first arrived in Grozny and the result was NEGATIVE - that is he passed the test.

A few people have cast doubts on Browne's claim. But in order to verify it, here is a copy of the test:
