WTF are you talking about ? Smith fought NOBODY. He is absolutely untested. He didn't look so good against C level Rebrasse and was seemingly rocked by a C level opponent he fought in his last fight. Until he fights a good pressure fighter or somebody unorthodox like Bika, there is no grounds to put him above current champions.

I am a fan of Callum Smith in the same extant as Ramirez. Both are exciting fighters that I hope clean up the mess of a division. What I am not fan of is these Germans that sit home with their belts, fight bums and duck the world class opponents.

He switches off so much that anyone with a bit of skill and a high workrate has a chance.

Ramirez and Smith may be able to clean up the division between then.
