Quite possibly. Actually I might not stay up for it after all, getting tired just thinking about it.

I think Khan will make a good go of it, landing and moving impressively on Canelo for around 5 or 6 rounds, but think the bigger hard punching Mexican will realize he can just walk through Khan's punches and land enough to put his lights out in 8 or 9 rounds.

Just got back to the hotel from the weigh-in. Fantastic atmosphere and seeing greats like Duran, Holyfield and Lewis up on stage was an added bonus. Would love Khan to pull it off, but he looked a bit fleshy in relative terms at the weigh-in and I'm struggling to make a case for how he's going to be able to pull this off.

One thing I find weird....that people are thinking Khan is going to be slower or bulkier or clumsier because he's carrying 6 or 7 or 8 pounds more. He's going to be the same fighter, as far as I can see. Just not weight drained.

ESPN are saying Khan bulking up will see him reduce his speed and movement, and that means he'll have to trade...I don't see that happening at all. He's always had his speed in his hands, not his feet.

The extra weight shouldn't slow him down. It should make him more durable, no?

Big punchers usually lose their knockout power as they move through the weights due to obviously fighting bigger men and losing physical advantages but can anyone name a decent amount of names from the past who have had a reputation as being chinny at lower weights then became more durable as they have moved up? People uncluding Kahn himself keep suggesting that he may be more durable with the extra weight but i just cant see it.

People were wondering about the durability of the Golden boy early on, when Oscar was knocked over twice in different fights at super feather, by relative journey men...but of course he went on to prove what a great chin he had at much higher weights.

I think Khan will do a lot better than many think he will, especially if he boxes & doesn't go for the knockout.

Cotto springs to mind. He was pretty fragile comparatively at 140, definitely seemed more durable when he moved up.

Why has khan taken a fight to be fed to the lions? Im not sure here, think there might be an upset. It dont make sense to me that most people not only here but in other boxing forums think khan is going to get beat up pretty bad. Why take a fight that seems a no winner.
