Spence is a big talent, but let's see him beat someone better than Algieri before we start worshipping him.
Also, why the hesitation? GGG and Kovalev were sure things after their first HBO appearances and this kid isn't?
Spence looks to have the tools. I hope they match him tough from here on out. It'll stop him from relying on his power too much.
The truth is he won't need to in the short term. But if he has the ambition his talents merit, then he and his team will have to come up with something.
WTF? lol Wow, maybe its just me, but what you just said would make more sense if you didn't try to sound so intelligent.
Just because someone has power and gets knock outs, doesn't mean they rely solely on their power. He boxes very good, he has a body attack probably second to none, and won't have to come up with anything new as far as I can see. He needs better competition to test the skills he has, but until then would be a fool to make changes in his style in any way. He may need to tighten up his defense against the elite, but no one even knows that just yet.
