I'm pretty certain that Canelos next bout will be on the above date. Since Oscar De la Hoya realised that the weekends closest to May 5th (a "holiday" that most Americans think is Mexican Independence Day) & September 16th (actual Mexican Independence Day) do the most PPVs in the US we've seen him or Mayweather & now Canelo always fight on the weekend nearest those days.
So, who do you think is the most likely opponent for Alvarez on that date?

I dont think he is ducking him big fights take time and the wbc should be ashamed trying to set up the best fighters in the sport together. The absolute cheek of them!
