fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Right now prolly Klitschko if only for knowing he will come in at the weight expected of him.
Could change come fight time though.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Even as a long time Wladimir nuthugger who followed him since the very early fights on German TV I just cannot see Wladimir regaining the title.
When he looked like crap against Jennings I said he was on the way out, but I didn't expect the fight against Fury to be that terrible. I blamed both of his abysmal performances on having a wife and child now, with his heart not into boxing any more due to too much to lose.
He needs to seriously let his hands go and take Fury on from a closer distance than he ever had to with other fighters. At 40 years old, I don't see that happen. Even with Manny Stewart alive that would not happen. I actually think that Manny would have told him to call it quits and Wladimir would have listened to him.
Fury by decision in a very boring and very disappointing fight.

...I would expect Wlad to be more aggressive especially in the first 6-8 rounds, Fury being able to neutralise it still winning majority of the rounds with minimum advantage...not because Fury being such a great and complete boxer, rather due to his superior reach and age...will be a close fight...I'll be supporting Wlad as usual..

He isn't willing to die in the ring so he will lose again

I was wondering the same thing.Cutman Scabbers wrote:Is the three-knockdowns in sparring story legitimate or a hoax?
Maybe it doesn't matter...
Fury seems a little too eager to brag about being decked 3 times by a light-heavy. The average fighter would deny it and call it a malicious rumor. Fury, instead, glories in it. Sounds bogus to me.
Probably just a publicity stunt to give Wlad backers some hope that he can turn back the clock.

Sounds like that's what it was.

I see a completely different Fury this time.BitPlayer wrote:Fury easy. He's looking good, seeming more motivated again. I just don't think Wlad can deal with him.
Physically not as good as last time.
Mentally completely different. He's world's away from the confident, focussed winner he was last time. This time he's already spoke of retirement, poor training, falling out of love with the sport and telling Wlad how great he is. Almost already making excuses for losing.
Be really surprised if we saw a repeat of last time. Not so surprised if we saw a lucrative third fight decider though

It's all a game..... he's good at the mind games he's too proud to lose to Wlad he will be in shape and most likely stop him this timeWales wrote:I see a completely different Fury this time.BitPlayer wrote:Fury easy. Mind games is one thing, but being that out of shape 8 weeks before a world title fight is something else. Wlad wins this time, lucrative third fight decider?

Wlad, if he fights
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
It should be a KO win or wide UD for Wlad. I don't think he wants to wrap up his career on the pathetic performance like in the first fight. Fury keeps running his mouth, most recently how he is going to rape Wilder and Joshua. The guy has some serious mental problems.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Wlad is hungry again. He was the champion for so long, he underestimated Fury, and adapted way too late.
Unless Fury's chin has greatly improved, this time, it's going to be hit.
Look for Wlad to double jab, and throw his right hand more often, and hook when Fury moves into it.
Wlad KO inside 5!

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
It should be Fury unless he really has gone off the deep end. I don't believe Wlad underestimated Fury. Wlad knows Fury was hungry, big, and has a few talents.
No fighter can stay great forever so I'd be surprised if Wlad improves from his last performance. He wasn't all that against Jennings either.
Fury, hopefully in a more entertaining fight.

fury comfortably
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
Fury is gonna slug it out with the Klit this time, looks like he has more bulk, so this means only one thing, more strength,
Klit will be on the floor knocked out heavily and counted out unconscious inside 5 rounds.
No way in this world is Fury losing this or any fight anytime soon.

Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
I can't believe Wlad lost the first fight. He must do a better use of his jab and follow-up.
Re: fury vs. wlad who do you have?
If Fury takes Wlads jab out of the equation again and keeps moving he will frustrate him again and get the win. I don't buy his talk of going after Wlad and stopping him, it's too risky for him.
