I wonder what Manny Vlamis is up to in August?
Re: Danny Green says he will fight an Aussie next. Wonder who it will be?
They mentioned on last nights replay of the Tomlinson-Tito card that Kane Watts had a huge fight coming up. Might be Watts.

Give him more than 6 weeks to prepare this time with no 84kg catchweight and Briggsy takes him to the cleaners.Tinnie wrote:Briggs rematch

Danny Green has no confidence in his ability fighting a pretender like Kane Watts, how clever of them to make this a PPV. Oz boxing has reached an ultimate low point

Kane Watts is a hardworking local cruiserweight who has won 18 of his 20 fights. In what way is he a pretender?GhostBoxing15 wrote:Danny Green has no confidence in his ability fighting a pretender like Kane Watts, how clever of them to make this a PPV. Oz boxing has reached an ultimate low point

Maybe he expected green to be fighting for a title after that sort of layoff?

What has Green had, one fight in 4 or 5 years? Never mind that and that he is 43 years old. Why isn't he fighting the best cruiserweight on the planet?scottearley123456 wrote:bogan whisperer wrote:Kane Watts is a hardworking local cruiserweight who has won 18 of his 20 fights. Cant see this fight going 6 rounds. Watts may have a good record 18 and 2 I think but hes in for a hard night.

Watts is a pretender, doesn't even make the top 5 in Oz, Green could've picked someone with a touch more experience. Watts will lay down, just pick an early round, the underworld will be loading up on a Ko victory for Green, while the rest of the sheep lap it up

This is the chance of his career and I have no doubt Watts will give it everything. But Green, even at 43 and ring rusty, will likely be too much for him.colin russell wrote:Cant see this fight going 6 rounds. Watts may have a good record 18 and 2 I think but hes in for a hard night.

Green went with Watts cos he doesn't have the raw power & experience of the Top Oz Cruisers, Bigtime Boxing will be wanting a Green KO to market to all the Green fans thinking Green will Ko Mundine when that circus gets announced

McCracken & Pitt would have to go easy on him in sparring for the kid to even make it to fight nightRedback Rasta wrote:"Overwhelmed with all the messages and phone calls from everyone today it is amazing and I'm deeply great full for everyone's support. Green and Mundine are now both working towards that big money rematch that people argued long and hard would never happen.
For Green this is a necessary distraction. But once he gets Kane Watts out of the way they will get the rematch contract signed and away we go.
Good luck to Watts though. He deserves the opportunity and who knows? He might get lucky!

Your right mate it is a big opportunity like Jeff Harding use to say your only 10 second's from disaster
Re: Danny Green opponent confirmed as Kane Watts for Aug 3
Garth Wood's wins over Kariuki and Oganov is greater than anything that Watts has done and people bagged that fight(and rightly so). And the fight will probably be at Dannyweight. First Robert''the diver''Bolonti and now Kane''Im the 8th best cruiserweight in Australia'''Watts.

Barry Michael always says you are only one punch from disaster. But same meaning.ClivePatrickLyons wrote:Redback Rasta wrote:"Overwhelmed with all the messages and phone calls from everyone today it is amazing and I'm deeply great full for everyone's support. Green don't fight the best Cruisers in the world full stop, he'd be put in hospital, he prefers bums or blown up Light Heavys no one has heard of from Europebogan whisperer wrote:What has Green had, one fight in 4 or 5 years?
