Smith vs Canelo undercard BJS vs Lemieux???

Post by BAP1 »

Any truth to the rumour? apparently this is what Fwank wants in September in Vegas or Texas. Sticking point is HBO are not keen on Smith. Would be great if it happened :box:

Until Canelo fights GGG, I'm not interested in him.

I feel the same. After all the talk after the Khan fight I thought he had no option but to fight GGG but his team have manoeuvred him in a different direction. It's an embarrassing move and it's all that's wrong with boxing. I firmly believe Canelo wants it and obviously GGG wants it and that makes it even more frustrating. DeLa Hoya is a knob!

x3. Except that ultimately Canelo can make his own decisions, he's big enough to insist on the fight so I put most of the blame on him.

Canelo doesn't feel like he's big enough to fully compete at 160 yet hence the reluctance on his part to fight Golovkin or for Golovkin to come down to 155 ish.

Can't see it happening.

Would be happy if it did though.

Would people be as hard on Canelo if he wasn't ginger? Just saying like. It's gingerist and it's not nice

No I can not wait until he gets smashed, he is a disgrace. I really respected him when he demanded he fight Lara to prove he is no 1 at 154 all respect gone now.

Believe it when I see it.

I really want Canelo to get smashed but I can not see anything Liam Smith has to trouble him.

I like BJS v Lemeiux though. Be very interesting if BJS can stay clear of Lemeiuxs left hook all night.

I've heard this from his team a few times but it's a load of bollocks... we've seen the size of him and what he's weighing during the 30 day check weigh in's and he could clearly perform at MW with zero issues.

Liam is no mug but the big ginger unit would batter him. Liam likes to get on the inside and throw body shots, he'd be a sitting duck.

Like the sound of Saunders V Lemieux.

Looks like i'm in the minority but i'd be happy with that as a double header.

Would obviously prefer Canelo V Golovkin

So why does he want smaller men to fight him above the super welterweight limit ?

Vlad Hyrunov has apparently said that Ortiz vs. Ustinov is due to be part of the next Canelo PPV.

Golden Boy vs. W@rren -

Canelo vs. L.Smith
Lemieux vs. BJS
Ortiz vs. Ustinov

get Flanagan vs. Michael Perez on there aswell and that would be a cracking card...

If that double header comes off, which it won`t, I swear on my own massive knackers that I`ll go straight out and buy an Admiral Akbar mask, wear it for a month straight and shout "Old Fish eyes is still the man" at total strangers.

One half's already done according to a very reliable source on CHB, although he also says that Saunders is out late August in London with Lewis Pettitt possibly fighting Abigail Medina on the undercard, so you should be safe.

Apparantly there's an agreement In place that Golovkin and Canelo will fight in September 2017. Seems fornicating crazy to me as Golovkin will be on the way to 36 but apparantly his promoter who I normally like in interviews and stuff is fine with it

http://www.BS.com/golovkins-pr ... 17--105941

It doesn't say September 2017 in that article but that's what's being said in other sources.
