I know a load of people hate it & fair enough but that's just the way things are.
I remember when Sky first started (I believe that Bruno v some bloke named Mike Tyson was the first big show) and everyone was up in arms about that. Now every other house has it.
I used to HATE PPV but after living in Southern California for a few years my views changed. Basically the only proper boxing fans down there are Mexicans (there's one or two who ain't but that's pretty much it) and I would go to friends houses for PPV fights. They'd cost around $60 which is 40 odd quid. We'd all toss in a tenner or so & bring some beer & it was a right laugh. After the bout the WII would come out & I'd school everyone in the Sweet Sicence
It ended up cheaper than a night out & we'd have a party a few times a year.
I think people in the UK & Ireland need to embrace this idea. It ends up cheap & you have a laugh with your mates.
