First round, both trying to fight from distance, Whyte won the first round, but didn't impress me, he moved a lot more as I expected for someone his size.
Second round, they attack each other a bit more, but every hard hit Whyte showed misses his target completely.
Whyte's opponend knows how to avoid getting hit.
Third round same story, this fight shows to me that Whyte would actually probably lose against David Haye for example if he got the refs against him.
On the other side, he doesn't get hit himself either.
Fourth round, similar story, the fight is getting boring, Whyte seems to be getting annoyed, he slowly does win all rounds somehow.
The fight reminds me of Klitschko/Povetkin, except that Whyte is 3 times as big as Povetkin and Bacurin is 3 times as small as Klitschko
Bacurin seems to be starting to get tired
Bacurin gave up in round 6, it's TKO, but I think he could have gone on if he really wanted, losing all rounds and receiving a lot of warnings.

Sexton, Lewison, Allen or Cornish are all fun fights for Whyte next...

I have to say I can see why Whyte caused Joshua, who is possibly the top heavyweight in the world, issues, with his fast reflexes, and high workrate.

I didn't see the fight but Whyte sounded less than impressive. How does everything think he would fare against Sexton or Cornish?

I'd fancy him to beat both, but they would be his best wins on paper.Gnome wrote:I didn't see the fight but Whyte sounded less than impressive. How does everything think he would fare against Sexton or Cornish?
I'd like to see Sexton for the British and Cornish for the commonwealth if Cornish wins his fight.
