This takes place at Event City on October 22nd.Stuffs wrote:Sam Hyde takes top billing in the second show from Lindemann Sports. Venue TBC, date slated for "October".
Few additions mentioned last night to this card in Sept 17th, including Luke Evans and John Telford. Most intriguing was mentioned Lee Gillespie against TBA in what will be a "big ticket selling local derby". Intrigued to see who that is.Stuffs wrote: Rutter v Gomez is a cracking scrap for the area.
Nice one Steve. Any snippets you can share on what Terry is doing next, what's going to be on in Bolton and can we wildly speculate on the oppo for Lee Gillespie?STEVE WOOD wrote:VIP boxing also back at Buxton on 1st October with Jack Massey top pong the bill , chief support is Joe Murray , Charlie Schofied also confirmed on

Northwest is booming with likes of terry flanighan, Brian Rose, Luke Blackledge etc who all came through small hall credit to the lads who put these shows on, been some corking fights on these shows like Carl dilks vs Wayne Adeyeni, Mick hall vs ali shah, paul drago vs Louis Cuddy etc Gomez Jnr vs rutter should be great too!!
Now confirmed for Bowlers Exhibition CentreStuffs wrote:This takes place at Event City on October 22nd.Stuffs wrote:Sam Hyde takes top billing in the second show from Lindemann Sports. Venue TBC, date slated for "October".
I understand what you are doing, but shouldn't the promoters be promoting these shows better ?Stuffs wrote:For sure Matko, some great shows and I want to keep this thread going.matko wrote:Looking forward to seeing posts in this section

People moan about attendance figures at small shows yet boxing fans don't know about them never mind the less hardcore casual fans.
The promoters don't seem that bothered as they just get the lads to sell 100 tickets each to their friends and family, and when the sales drop off there is another amateur willing to sign for the same deal.

Pity that already bought tickets from event in.Stuffs wrote:Free tickets to the Kieran Farrell show on September 2nd.
All you gotta do is buy tickets to the Crolla show from Kieran's boxer Nathan Wheatley. You can find him on Twitter.
Nathan also appears on the Crolla bill.

Very true. It would be almost non-existent. Others are pushing on a bit now, which will hopefully mean more shows, and keep the area thriving. However without Steve, who -- without meaning to cause offence to others -- is very much top of the tree round here, there'd be little else.matko wrote:Vincent stevenson wrote:Steve wood does the best small hall shows in the north west. It's frightening to think how it would effect north west if he wasn't active aswell as how his hard work has paid off making the north west so busy with active fighters and contenders
Great fight, definitely be at that oneStuffs wrote:October 22nd, Bolton
