Psedudoephedrine is a lot more plausible to take by accident than Nandralone, which is an artificial hormone.
Re: Tyson Fury charged by UKad
Anyway, this is copy and pasted as I did not know the exact way it could enhance sports performance, but it says - these effects include increased muscle contractility, increased blood flow to skeletal muscles, increased glycogenesis, increased central nervous activation and heart rate, as well as decreased time to fatigue

My mate took a bunch of ephedrine tablets once, eff me, he could have run to Glasgow and back, he was absolutely off his chops, danced for about 12 hours that night he did.tobyh5 wrote:Anyway, this is copy and pasted as I did not know the exact way it could enhance sports performance, but it says - these effects include increased muscle contractility, increased blood flow to skeletal muscles, increased glycogenesis, increased central nervous activation and heart rate, as well as decreased time to fatigue

So he was done for nandrolone in 88 too? Or just ephedrine?

Ephedrine, or rather pseudoepherdrine, the synthetic version. Pseudoephedrine is a simple stimulant, and was found in supplements in small quantities at that time, sometimes due to tainting, however, Nandralone is another matter entirely, the levels it was in his blood is not likely to be obtained by accident and it's a far more powerful substance as it is one of a group that mimic testosterone, or is it HGH - I think it's an anabolic.Counter-puncher wrote:tobyh5 wrote:Cleared on a vote of 11-10. Oh ok its just you didn't mention ephedrine and said the 99 and 88 cases were near identical, I wasn't being obtuse I just thought you were saying he was done for nandrolone in 88 tootobyh5 wrote:You thought right. I always assumed it was its qualities as a stimulant that were the ummm added value it gave

This is what I said. I did not say the cases were the same. I said that what he said was nearly identical

Re: Tyson Fury charged by UKad
Thanks for bringing research to the table Tobyh....I didn’t know about Christie’s ’88 past.
So I wonder how might the lab results of Johnson, Lewis and Christie...and anyone else for that matter, have looked. Different pick n mixes, or tell tale similarities.
I always thought the American in the ’92 Final looked hyper and pretty “pumped”. Leeroy Burrell I think his name was.....didn’t matter as I think he ended up 5th.
What was the bloke called from St. Kitts and Nevis? Kim someone? I think he was in elite races into his 41st year! Then you had Fredericks of Namibia....a lot of popular guys.

I was going to say that I don’t think Christie was on the anabolics, not after what I’ve heard they do to your cock.jamesmcdonnell wrote:They are indeed, make your cock huge too, well, I'm guessing, been eating one a day since childhood and I'm hung like a baby whale.magwitch wrote:Avocadoes/ avocados, are a superfood?tobyh5 wrote:To add to my post above - I just did some basic searching for info on google and his drug test failure in 1999 is quite interesting as nearly identical to the one he got away with in 1988

Remember Dwain chambers, think he was done for Nandralone as well I think, I remember Michael Johnson commenting on how huge he'd become in the space of a season - but the funny think is, he got slower. Guess he'd been hitting the weights hard.
A lot of these artificial hormones aid recovery time which allows athletes to train harder with less rest, but it's no gurantee of improvement.

I don't know if that's morally acceptable. I mean, a more well rounded person would not have it. A driven, results focused, trained winner would never cheat at anything. Never. I know because I don't want it to be true.
Just stop trying to argue points from positions of utter ignorance

Its amazing how they seem to find one boxer is on something , but others who are obviously on something don't get found out . Personaly i've suspected Billy Joe is on the Mars Bars for a while now .. Seems to me his face is getting fatter and fatter , everytime he does a u tube interview with Kugan
Re: Tyson Fury charged by UKad
Where have you got this made up information from, what an utter load of shite. When Chambers was on the peds he set a PB of 9.87secs which was later erased because of his admittance to being on peds, in the same race Tim Montgomery set a new World Record of 9.78, Montgomery was also on peds at the time. Also Chambers was not done for nandrolone, he was done for THG.jamesmcdonnell wrote:Remember Dwain chambers, think he was done for Nandralone as well I think, I remember Michael Johnson commenting on how huge he'd become in the space of a season - but the funny think is, he got slower.
