Firstly is refreshing, even though their hand was forced, for sky to bring in someone new. The fact its mainly been same guys doing the job for years makes it feel like somewhat of a "job for the boys club" that needs a shake up. Was dissapointed when "Dave Darts" came in as anchor few years ago, knew as much about boxing as I do about the reproductive cycle of a pilot fish.

Secondly, did anyone else think Barry Jones was pretty good during Frampton fight? He's had his critics but I thought he did well last night, especially with the co - commentators dire attempt of reading the fight.

I'm a big fan of Jones myself. Aside from being knowledgeable and reading a fight well (something Watt did very well most of the time ignoring the negatives)- he's likeable. He commentates in a way that is almost like listening to someone talking boxing in a pub would do but not overly so. He has the right balance I think.

Regarding Rawlings (as Stu mentioned him) he used to be very good but I find him pretty tiresome these days for some reason. He's gone a bit stale.

Clark was good. Talked about all boxers in the division which was refreshing from Sky's usual only talk about Matchroom fighters policy.

I like John Rawling. Between him and Barry Jones they usually get it right.

Darke is sorely missed though. Top commentator.

I really like Jones. Agree with everything you say there. His commentary on the Frampton fight was a bit sketchy though I thought. I thought he was giving LSC too much credit at times and I disagreed on a couple of the rounds he gave to LSC particularly the 12th but he's usually on the money and has probably forgot more about a boxing than I'll ever know so I can hardly grumble!

He's doing my head in already. I wonder if he happens to go for a morning swim in Rio's polluted waters. I mean, it would be awful if he picked up a throat infection or something...I guess...no, not good...but I mean, he'd have time off to enjoy the city of Rio...and if he we really needed to know how many brothers and sisters the coach of the Democratic Republic of Congo's team has we could always get by by googling it ourselves.
