Is that a pre-fight announcement, or the announcement that there will shortly be an announcement?

Tricky one I think this is a whole new stage of announcements. This I believe is the announcement to tell us there may be an announcement
The announcement that an announcement is possibly close to being announced. Unless there is no announcement, in which case we'll announce the lack of announcement, and announce when the next possible announcement might occur. :TU:

I read that they fell out over Hearn only being able to give Degale 2 tickets the last AJ fight, true story.
DeGale don't like Ugly Hearn, and Ugly Hearn don't like him. :TU:

Lots of Haymon fighters seem to fight once and then sit on the sidelines for a good 8 months with no word on their next fight, must be frustrating for the boxers that are actually trying to get sh!t done in their careers rather than just being in it to pick up the odd pay cheque.
You say that but then you've got guys like Paul Smith (who should be way beyond this stage at this point in their careers) just fighting in 6 and 8 rounders against Latvian binmen. You see Hearn do that with a lot of his guys on big shows aswell. Pad the card out with names with 60/70 % of them fighting some journeyman and he calls it a "stacked" card.

I doubt they're making particularly much money from these tick over jobs either.

Yeah that's very true, but in the case of Paul Smith I think he's happy with those fights, whenever I see interviews with him he seems to think that he's entitled to another world title shot and that there's no point risking that in anything resembling a competitive fight.

Fully agree about the padding of records though, prime example is the "massive night" he put on for Clev/Bellew 2 which had DeGale, Smith, Groves and AJ on, only problem was they fought Periban, Sjekloca, Douglin and Sprott respectively.
