Brutu, did you ever find out if that fellow at the seaside was Harry Greb?

I'm sure it was.

Look at the evidence. It's overwhelming. White male, correct number of arms and legs, no evidence of him carrying a sign saying "No, I am not Harry Greb".

Looks like an open and shut case to me.

Caractus....there was no extended delay in that fight. (Except in some admittedly fun to read fictional accounts.)

It just did not manifest in reality. An Dem's da fax.

Now for cryin' out loud, just shut up about it, and have yourself a nice slice of pie.

no,No No,

Just because you say it aint so ,does'nt mean that it did not happen.
Obviously you are biased.
I believe I had presented my arguments that it could have happened.
Now you (and anyone else here)prove that it did not happen.

Man you are fornicating insane. It didnt happen, get over it. I now have two forms of proof, the unedited kinescope and the unedited radio broadcast, i couldnt care less if some anonymous crank on the internet doesnt believe me. I dont have any interest in the story one way or the other beyond knowing the truth. If wanting the truth over the myth makes me biased then so be it. Im biased in favor of the truth.

Caractacus Brutu must cling to this point of contention because it's the only one he can still get people to respond to. He's breathes people's annoyance.

You dont either, if you do then prove it and put in all on youtube.
(BTW the kinescope you refer to was obviously edited in post-production and you know it!,
because it has an instant replay of the knockdown which
did not exist at that point in time)
and we are all waiting here for the original BBC Radio broadcast of it
(and dont try and use the audio from the edited and abridge kinescope over some photographs, hoping to pass it off
as the "original"BBC Radio broadcast either).

If the kinescope was a crime scene it would have been "compromised" and the therefore the "evidence" (or lack of) would not be usable in a court.
(if the two plus minutes dont exist in the kinescope then you must aquit)

when are you going to do some some actual research and dig up the newspaper articles
that were written up by the English press who where actually sitting ringside at that fight
and that were published in the various newspapers the very next morning after the actual fight?
and not 50 years later by people who claim to know the events but were actually still doing a dump in their diapers in June of 1963.
(such as Steve Bunce)
You can start with
THE NEWS OF THE WORLD
and
THE SUN.
Im sure both probably covered the event.
still waiting to see the newspaper articles.
Whats the matta, you forget were the library is in your town ?

What did you expect from a guy who thought Il Duce's stories were non-fiction?

After 10 years of posting total shite daily as Brutu and recently Caractacunny he's hardly likely to say "Thanks. I am obviously a fekkin eejit and should now take off my tin foil hat and grow up."

well then sir,let me kindly address it for you.
He ( Sir Henry Cooper) probably indeed was waiting in the centre of the ring for the bell to ring to commence action for all we know.
and there may have been so much of a delay he got a little tired himself, turned around and sat back on his stool.
(just my opinion)

FACT:Ever heard of the Nixon tapes?
Yeah I heard it... The announcer clearly says that Clay had a torn glove.. That jives with Angelo Dundee's story.. According to regulations the boxers are required to have intact gloves, with no torn, chaffed, or irregular seams or surfaces ... and they didn't stop the fight to change the gloves, which should have been done, because torn gloves can cut the crap out of your face.. But I believe the reason they didn't require the gloves to be changed was because it was obvious Clay was in a bad way after he got up from the knockdown.. They thought Cooper might finish Clay if they didn't give him several minutes to recover changing gloves.. Clay recovered well in the minute's rest and that was that.

And they ALWAYS have back-up gloves for major fights... The idea that they wouldn't is BS... They didn't change the glove to help Cooper.
