For me this alias seems kind of insulting and just flat out dumb. I agree that there can be different styles in boxing but I disagree that there is a "Mexican Style"
I mean Petr Petrov a much better fight, has a Spanish wife lives in Spain but still doesn't stoop to this level.
Does Gradovich have a Mexican wife? Does he live in Mexico?? Or is he just selling out trying to get some needed fanfare. I don't understand being a come forward fighter just isn't enough to warrant this nickname.

He has trained with Robert García since he was about 11-0. He's lived in Oxnard for several years and trained by Mexicans, that's why. Don't see the problem with that nickname
