I really hope Usyk doesn't get robbed. I think he'll outbox Glowacki but I'm not sure he can get a stoppage.

Glowacki has been stunned in his last two fights, down quite heavily vs Huck.
Usyk is better than Huck or Cunningham, in my opinion.
I expect him to stop Glowacki, who will have to do something because he'll be getting outboxed at home.

Saturday. Three days. Big fight. Books have Usyk a 2 to 1 favorite. I am chagrined, though, that Usyk cut his hair. I thought he was an aficionado of weird hair-do's - like moi!

We were discussing this before and as you know- -I feel the same way. This fight will tell us a lot more about Usyk.crusader wrote:Not as impressed with Usyk as some are.
He doesn't really push the pace and has had issues when opponents try to counterpunch. I kind of lean toward Glowacki, especially with the fight in Poland, but maybe Usyk will turn it up given the circumstances.
Very excited to see what happens

TBH I expect Usyk to win, but really not by that much, he got a nice resume, but nothing special does he?

Probably be one of the top 3 fights this year. What time does it go off in relation to USA PST west coast time, and is it shown on tv or how can it be seen on internet ..Thanks in advance.

Glowacki has a great chin, head like a concrete block.

For me it was a close and comptetive match. I really didn't see all this points judges gave to Usyk.

You need to get your eyes checked then.geronimo wrote:For me it was a close and comptetive match. I really didn't see all this points judges gave to Usyk.

Re: Usyk vs Glowacki this weekend
Usyk clearly won on points.
To be honest I think he was either being really careful because he knew he was comfortably winning on points or he just simply didn't want to knock out Glowacki in front of his home crowd because of respect.
Hopefully Usyk soon emerges on HBO or Showtime soon. He's too good to not be introduced to the American audience.

No, it wasn't. You must have been watching it through very partisan glasses. If so you're not the only one. On the British broadcast of the fight they showed the Polish guy's scorecard and he had the fight even up until the last two rounds. They were shocked and rightfully so. Watch the replay. You'll be more calm and objective. Glowacki is super tough but their respective post fight faces and demeanors tell the story. I'm glad the judges rendered an honest decision in his home country. Honest country. It wouldn't have been like that in Brooklyn or Las Vegas.
