The only one of them with real boxing skills and willing to stay in shape still is Wladimir Klitschko - I fear.

1 Nikolay Valuev
2 Wladimir Klitschko
3 Paolo Vidoz
4 Danny Williams
5 Sinan Samil Sam
6 Matt Skelton
7 Luan Krasniqi
8 Timo Hoffmann
9 Audley Harrison
10 Vladimir Virchis

Sorry, aber die boxrec-Compterrangliste entspricht nicht der Realität.......besonders in diesem Fall
I cannot see, what Lyakhovich, Ibragimov and Dimitrenko did more than Williams, Skelton and Harrison - besides not having been defeated yet ... no, Lyakhovich lost even to Harris.

From my perspective, no-loss-records are very over-estimated in boxing. A loss to a good opponent shouldn't touch a boxer's reputation basicly.

A Skelton and a Williams in front of Luan and a Harrison in a Euro Top Ten is the biggest joke of boxing. Harrison is no top 30 and Luan would laugh his ass off if he had to fight Williams or Skelton. This computer top ten is such a joke. nobody in the world except the silkov- or the Cannibal-guy would rate them higher than Luan or Williams above Sam who destroyed him. Think about that before posting this nonsense top ten.

I haven't read the whole thread, but just scanning it it seems no one has mentioned Chagaev?? For me he should definitely be in the top 10, even if he isn't entirely proven yet. On skills alone he is probably second only to Wlad - he just needs a few more big fights to prove it.

Chagaev is from Uzbekistan which isnt an european country and not an EBU member like Kasakhstan. For my list I have used fighters eligable for EBU fights (if they fourght in Europe that is).

Bubi,

it is a pitty, you seem to be blind for things like Krasniqi's loss to Saleta and his draw with Hoffmann ... And Sam lost to Krasniqi, Maskaev and Gomez.

You should face the whole truth and not close one eye ...

I never said I'd put Williams above Luan or Sam and Luan is not too good to fight Williams, apart from a couple of fights he has not really fought anyone miles ahead of Williams level and I reckon a Williams/Luan match would be competitive but I would fancy Luan.

The fighters who I did say I'd rate Williams above were Golota, Dimitrenko, Ibragimov and Virchis who all with the exception of Golota haven't even fought in Williams league yet and Golota, well Williams deserves to be ranked above him just on recent form and activity alone.

Say what you want about Skelton and Audley but if an American prospect came over to England and beat the two of them then everyone would be declaring that prospect the next big thing in the heavyweight division and he'd be shot up the rankings. Because it was Williams however who has been there and failed as well as being British everyone dismisses the achievement.

Aah, fair enough. I thought it was just for fighters based in Europe.

That's debatable and you don't make rankings based on debate and what would happen, you make them on what information you have now and the information we have now is that Williams has fought and beaten a better class of fighter than a lot of those novices on your ranking have even contemplated of fighting. I'd also favour Williams to beat at least a couple of fighters on that list.
who did beat Williams? an outwashed Tyson some years ago.....ridiculuos.... he had two serious oponents in the last years. Vitali and Sinan. Both showed him what world or european class is about
Bubi is there no end to your bias? This is a disgraceful list. Williams has achieved more than anyone on your list bar Wlad and maybe Valuev.

1. Nico Valuev (really lost his 2 biggest fights)
2. Wladimir Klitschko (Elite but Williams and Skeleton stand a punchers chance of denting his chin)
3. Luan Krasniqi (destroyed by Brewster, best wins Sam - so what)
4. Sinan Samil Sam (whys he above Maskeav?)
5. Andrew Golota (has he ever won a fight?)
6. Sergei Lyakhovich (achieved nothing other than beating Guinn whos a nobody)
7. Paolo Vidoz (best win is a tight 1 against Sprott - Skeleton dominated and stopped him - Williams beat Skeleton)
8. Sultan Ibragimov (hasn't beat anybody)
9. Vladimir Virchis (taken to school by Sprott)
10. Alexander Dimitrenko (beaten nobody)

Williams should be top 3 (Tyson, Audley, Skeleton, Meehan (who beat Brewster who beat Krasniqi))

Bubi

Mate - you know too much about boxing to be a troll. Not having Williams in a Top 10 of European heavyweights is just laughable.

I know you face a lot of flak, often unnecessarily for your support of German and German based boxers, but you are just plain wrong on this one.

I guess by the same token Krasniqi beat Sam who beat Williams!

No doubt Williams deserves to be in the top 10, but I gave up reading too much into Bubi's biased top 10 heavyweight lists long ago.
