Is Crolla a 'big' fav?

Linares is number one with The Ring, ESPN, Boxing Monthly, Boxing News, Fightnews, and more, so he's pretty commonly seen as the top guy for some reason, when by far his best win since being stopped back to back is the life and death with Kev Mitchell.

Not sure about predictions inside boxing but Crolla is the bookies favourite. I think the odds started off pretty even. Crolla is best price 8/13 with Linares best priced at 9/5.

Crolla physique looks fantastic, gets better and better. His improvement in the latter part of his career is quite amazing really. I just cannot fathom how he has done it. He was always a grafter so not sure what is different. Better diet or supplements maybe?

I think he's filled out, matured, grown fully into the weight.

Hope he enjoys this career peak with a great win over Linares as often it can be downhill afterward.

It could be another Katsidis style fight.

I.e. when he fought Kevin Mitchell he looked a beast, then lost something the next time he came over to fight Ricky Burns (taking nothing away from Burns by the way).

I sense it could be the same thing Saturday - and fair play to Crolla if it's the case and he gets the victory.

I just think it's Crollla's time and he will put on a show and win on points. Crolla is totally ready for this step up and it will show Saturday.

Yeah definitely better "supplements" I think his physique and sudden emergence is really fishy and I like him seems like a nice guy

I've been saying for week linares is being vastly overrated. That said I re watched the Mitchell fight last night he is a lot smarter than Barroso and a lot faster.

I can not see why Linares is seen as significantly better than the likes of Flanagan ( who Gallagher clearly doesn't want Crolla to fight), Zlaticanin, Easter Jr even Mikey Garcia. What is Linares best win a shot Mitchell 15 months ago or Oscar Larios at featherweight 9 years ago.

Don't get me wrong mate he is a good trainer comes up with semi decent game plans like 75% of the time but the lad says some deluded things before fights and even post fight

But they aren't good stats at all there are plenty of trainers in the UK who have better wins

PeterFury, McGuigan, Coldwell, Tibbs, Dom Ingle arguably Tony Sims ( Barker v Geale)

Amazing fact, Linares has NEVER completed the 12 round schedule....despite being 7-2 in world title fights. Crolla to break him down late.

Suggests to me he’s a dangerous fighter capable of taking the man out....he matched Mitchell blow for blow despite shipping plenty, from memory....

Can someone tell me what country this is in so I can work out whether I’ve a cat in hell’s chance of catching it somewhere?

Funny how there's so a lot less interest in this bout than the two from the last couple of Saturdays. Has the potential to be so much better & the UK fighter with a decent shot at winning.
