Haye v Bellew
Looks like this fight is gonna happen given the amount of casual money that will be lapped up. Does anyone think Bellew has a chance? What weight do we reckon Bellew will come in at?

He will be absolutely decimatedjameswilson wrote:Looks like this fight is gonna happen given the amount of casual money that will be lapped up. Does anyone think Bellew has a chance? What weight do we reckon Bellew will come in at?

Re: Haye v Bellew
You'd have to favour haye heavily but it depends at what weight, getting down could take something out of haye. I thought he was looking smaller in his IFL vid.

Re: Haye v Bellew
Has to be Heavyweight Haye just said he can't make Cruiser. Absolute freak show.
Re: Haye v Bellew
It'd have to be a catchweight, surely?
Re: Haye v Bellew
Suicide for Bellew.
Re: Haye v Bellew
If he wants the cash so bad then he should move up.Horse wrote:It'd have to be a catchweight, surely?
Re: Haye v Bellew
Pointless joke of a fight
Re: Haye v Bellew
Haye would hurt Bellew with every punch he lands.
Re: Haye v Bellew
It's the best option if it's going to happen, surely bellew doesn't believe he can move upto heavy weight or think that he is such a big draw that haye would bother boiling down at 36 years of age to fight at cruiser against him when all the money is at heavy weight.Horse wrote:It'd have to be a catchweight, surely?

why? it would make Bellew look ridiculous....
desperate to tear Haye's head off*.....
*under a contractually agreed weight limit
Re: Haye v Bellew
What weight do you reckon then? 210 lbs? 215 lbs?Finn wrote:It's the best option if it's going to happen, surely bellew doesn't believe he can move upto heavy weight or think that he is such a big draw that haye would bother boiling down at 36 years of age to fight at cruiser against him when all the money is at heavy weight.

Does this fight sell without a trinket?
As for how it goes, Haye would hurt him badly. Bellew would be too wary and he will see the difference in speed and power

Re: Haye v Bellew
I don't think it'd make Bellew look bad, as long as he didn't try to demand anything daft as the catchweight.Ricky_ wrote:why? it would make Bellew look ridiculous....

Re: Haye v Bellew
I don't see why it couldn't just be at Heavyweight. Haye's not a huge Heavyweight or nothing anyhow.Horse wrote:It'd have to be a catchweight, surely?
Re: Haye v Bellew
Haye looked small tonight, but that could be the camera (not much bigger than Froch)
I agree a catch weight could be an option as Bellew is just going to be fatter

Re: Haye v Bellew
It'll be a one or two round blowout, but I'll watch it. I really don't like Bomber and will happily see him lose.
Re: Haye v Bellew
Bellew would probably be less of an overwhelming underdog at a catchweight, so it would help to legitimise the fight a bit more.gilgamesh wrote:I don't see why it couldn't just be at Heavyweight. Haye's not a huge Heavyweight or nothing anyhow.

Re: Haye v Bellew
If Bellew wants him just fight the man at Heavyweight and Bellew might can come in at 210 or 215 himself. Size won't be an issue in my opinion. The skills will determine the winner. Nobody has a size advantage here significant enough that it's gonna be the determining factor in the fight.Horse wrote:Bellew would probably be less of an overwhelming underdog at a catchweight, so it would help to legitimise the fight a bit more.gilgamesh wrote:I don't see why it couldn't just be at Heavyweight. Go to the boozer, it wont last long and no commentary will be needed. It's hardly going to be up there with the detailed analysis of a Frampton- Santa Cruz fight.rossij8 wrote:Will you pay though? Haye is the bigger man, so weight will be a factor.gilgamesh wrote:If Bellew wants him just fight the man at Heavyweight and Bellew might can come in at 210 or 215 himself.
