Bellew-Haye is a ridiculous fight. However, I'm quite happy for it to happen and think the build up will be fun and the main event hilarious. Boxing is entertainment isn't it? If it had a decent co-main event I'd even probably consider going, but I'm not trekking to fornicating Liverpool.

I'd have to watch it again but I recall that, while brave, Joyce was handled quite easily by Usyk. If the likes of Holyfield and Haye can make the move successfully to heavyweight then I don't see why Usyk couldn't: he must be about the same size. And Joshua is still very green. It would be an interesting one.

Yeah but he would have to spend time bulking up and getting used to the weight. Not a sudden big jump against a big heavy

Agreed. My point about Usyk/AJ was that if Usyk didn't believe he could beat the other top cruisers he would go up to heavyweight right now and fight AJ. Both won gold at the 2012 Olympics, it would sell and Usyk would get paid nicely. But he wants to unify first as he knows he beats everyone out there. Bellew on the other hand was calling for Haye the moment he won the title. That's a sign of ducking. He doesn't back himself against the best in his division. My money would be on all of Usyk, Glowacki, Lebedev, Briedis, Huck, Dorticos, Gassiev and Drozd if they fought Bellew. He can get flattened by Haye for far more money and his rep doesn't take a hit in the slightest.
